I think Kirkland is our  best keeper but am worried about his injuries at such a young age.

I fear he may become a sicknote.

The injuries this squad seem to sustain is just unbelievable .
Is it purely down to "bad luck"  ??? If so Kirkland must be one of the most unluckiest players around.

Kirkland has been very unfortunate, It seems whenever he is going to get permanent first team football he gets injured, must've happened around 4-5 times in the last couple of seasons. Hope he can get over this as he is a great GK and a possible future England no1, once "calamity" James retires or is dropped.

i'm understandably worried because i know how good the gut is. i played against him when i was at school and even then i knew he was gonna be top class. it's a bit woorying how he seems to injure himself in warm ups though.

He looks like another Redknapp to me.I dont think we can rely on his fitness unfortunately.

im a bit worried about his fitness aswell. Potentionally hes the best keeper in england(miles better than that fat lump robinson) but his injury record is appaling, hopefully he will get over it.

I too like many am worried about his injuries. If he was not injured he would probably be the no.1 in portugal. He is a great keeper if he could only stay fit.
