15 Everton 21 3 1 6 8 15 4 1 6 6 16 -17 23
16 Middlesbrough 20 3 5 3 15 17 2 2 5 10 13 -5 22
17 West Brom 21 5 1 5 17 14 0 3 7 3 17 -11 19
18 Portsmouth 21 2 4 4 6 11 2 1 8 10 22 -17 17
19 Birmingham 20 2 2 6 9 14 2 2 6 6 15 -14 16
20 Sunderland 20 0 3 8 7 21 1 0 8 8 17 -23 6

ok, at home we have conceded 4 goals. ok so have the gooners and bolton. But we were beaten 4-1 at home by chelsea right?
so only one game so far where we have let in a single goal this season. now i hope im not jinxing it but we have to give a big thanks to everyone working so far. and those we have brought may have to bide there time a little longer as we have got the best defensive record in the premiership.

discuss (if u want, but im right)  :wwww

I get the feeling that Hyypia may start thinking about retiring. He is one of the smartest defenders going around but he does lack pace and is sometimes shown up.

Dawson, your post is absolutely correct and I agree

*BUT* what if one of our CB gets injured? Injuries happen in football. I think it was necessary to buy Agger.

Needless to say, I'm not asking Hyppia to retire just because a bad game in Luton or another dark day, when you pick Hyppias games in bunches of ten, you realise he is solid in 8 or 9 out of 10 games, and what's more important his compenetration with Carra is digital (perfect). Possible injuries concern me, though, so Agger was necessary, at the least.

Spot on, he can also play left back which would enable him to get better lines of communication with the rest of the back four.

I suppose if they were fully match fit the fee would be higher and the clubs less likely ot let them go. May be a blessing in disguise.
