I don't think anyone did.

Tactically spot on. Team selection... Suprisingly spot on.

Well done Gerard, well done to everyone who played there part. Made up with the result and the performance was exactly what was required.

Get in there!!! can't beleive it, i was expecting a good thrashing tonight! Have to give massive praise to man of the match, Big Emile Heskey, great performance!, Lets just hope this will kick start our season. Although this season is still not up to LFC standards, that was much better, i will go to bed happy tonight!![B]YNWA

I shouldn't worry about Dioufs sending off Laurence, it was almost certainly be revoked on appeal.  :D

its only 2 wins if that happens.

some people are so fickle.

I'll stick to my guns and say Houllier and Moores still need to go. People said we turned the corner when we beat UTD in Cardiff last year and look what happened.

We hit Chelsea in the middle of a bad patch and rode our luck at times.

All the same, I won't begrudge Houllier the victory. He picked the right team for the night. I have no personal vendetta against him: I'd be perfectly happy if he won us the league, but I can't see that happening

One win doesn't mean we have turned it around, its only a few weeks ago that we lost at home to Southampton.

Maybe if we win 14 or 15 from our next 19 I'll change my mind on Houllier, but somehow I doubt it. I can see a few more poor results in the spring, like Leicester beating us at home.

Look at UTD: they don't beat Chelsea and Arsenal that often but they are excellent at beating all the other sides. Thats the real test: beating small sides at Anfield.

Cheer up JBG, can't we just revel in a victory for a change?  I know it will only last until the weekend, but who cares.  Nice one lads.
