Apparently James Pearce has tweeted that there will be no incoming signings today and it's highly unlikely that we'll see any departures either. The club have had one or two offers for Ings but none of them anywhere near our valuation of the player.
Obviously players can join European clubs right up till the end of August but after tonight we can't sign anyone and none of our fringe players can join other English clubs.

Sounds like both Hazard and Giroud are both talking to Fekir trying to convince him to join Chelsea.

If he goes anywhere this summer, he'll only be known as a Liverpool reject...

To be fair Chelsea have already broke the world transfer record for a goalie and have also got a new CM pairing in Kovacic and Jorginho, if they manage to sign Fekir and keep hold of Hazard then they would look pretty effin strong imo.
Apparently their new manager likes to attack as well.

Kante Kovacic and Jorginho is a tasty midfield 3. They're shaky everywhere else though.

Everton have had a good last day, that Yerri Mina looks an imposing figure, I wouldn't have minded having him here tbh.
They have also signed Bernard and Andre Gomes from Barcelona who was highly rated a few years back, he's still only 25 now.

Thats it in a nutshell, he had a simple choice really, either lead the line for a premier league club or lead the line for our U23's.

Southampton can't be broke after all the money we have given them in the last few years. I'd say they struck that deal because of reservations about Ings fitness. Maybe we should have tried something like that for Fekir.
