If being a supporter of a smaller club means its acceptable for your team to not show up because there is nothing left to play for then I think I would be finished watching football.  :nod

Still you can only beat whats in front of you and we did what we had to. Coutinho was phenomenal  :bowdown He absolutely ran amok and deserves all the credit for that win. Sturridge played well and got his goal plus an assist but I think its too late for him here. It does however highlight the fact that we need a striker in the summer that can score goals as cleanly and as consistently as he can.
It was a good win and better performance even if it was a poor effort from the opposition.

The formation and tactics yesterday was not a Klopp masterstroke  :no His hands were tied due to injuries namely to Firmino and Lucas but had they of being fit then they would have started. We even started not 1 but 2 recognised strikers which has got to be a first under Klopp. He doesn't change things and even at 4.0 up still waited about 12 minutes before bringing on Lucas who couldn't start apparently because of injury. It was pointless bringing him on in the 87th minute ahead of players like Grujic who needs the minutes.

FK ME !!!

Can't believe some of the negativity in here.

i.e "West Ham were pants" suggesting that none of our play deserved merit against a side that in their last three games prior to playing us kept clean sheets.

West Ham may have (thankfully) been missing some key players such as Noble and Carroll but the same could be said about us

sic "Klopp stumbled into his team selection, if Firmno was fit he would of played ahead of Sturridge"

Christs sake Jurgen played the hand he was dealt and we fking won !!!

Any chance some of us can just say "Great Result We Go Again"    ???    :buttrock   :buttrock   :buttrock

wasn't that roughly what I did say?
'Credit to Klopp' - that's positive
'West Ham were pants but we dispatched them with ease - like it should be done' - that's also a positive, meaning in recent weeks we'd of struggled but because Klopp made the right choices we brushed them off, even though they were under strength.

chill out man - all's good in the red camp

A very good win and the credit goes to all the players, especially Sturridge and Coutinho. It is delighted to hear most of the fans do agree on a positive team selection other than the nutcase manager would normally have selected. Origi & Firmino will always be ahead of Sturridge in the mind of wired manager, despite the first two are useless players and they are not natural top finishers!
I have no hope or faith in this manager, and to achieve 4th spot it is a merely minimum requirement for LFC, and it is not a huge achievement as the nutcase might think!

Let us wait and see the new players the nutcase would bring to the LFC, the average shitty players the likes of Mario Gotze, Mohammad Salah, he will miss out on top CB, But he has one in Sakho! Will be no new keeper!.. Most of top clubs will be spending £200M, some £100M, Everton will spend more than £75M, LFC BIG ????
