Anyone watched Arrival yet?  Very very good sci-fi movie. liked it alot... very profound! I'd rate it 4/5. Together with Interstellar, they are the best sci fi movies of recent years. It's not as intense as Interstellar but maybe even more profound and it's like a sad poem...

I was disappointed tbh. More than happy to watch a cerebal sci fi movie but expect my aliens to be a bit more than just some shadowy squid behind a screen   

Arrival was good concept was interesting aswel. I quite liked how the Aliens were "hidden". Creates a sense of power and suspense.

Watched Snowpiercer recently.

Awesome movie one that relates to society and world we live in.
I would recommend you guys to watch it if you have not.

Good movie interesting plot and ending. Trailer looks predictable but movie its very different.

Had to say I shook my head when I heard they were making a sequel to classic Sci fi flick Blade runner especially after all those director cuts

However have to say the trailer piqued my interest

Have anyone watched Guardians of the galaxy 2 and Alien: Covenant?
I thought both of them were okay. Guardians of the galaxy 2 is obviously a step-up from the 1st movie (the 1st sucks tbh). Alien is quite cool, except for the actual aliens (anyone likes hybrids?)

Watched "Life",if you like "Alien" type sci fi deffo worth the watch

Finally caught "Free Fire"  at times I thought I was watching a retro low budget Tarantino movie, humorous and violent deffo worth watching.

Yup watched "Life". Good movie worth the watch.

Also recently watched "Alien Covenant". DEcent flick, linked with promethius.

Saw Dunkirk today for me it lived up to the hype especially enjoyable on the big screen.

Might be a bit of missing for those who enjoy the linear character type movies but those who like gritty technical movie I think will enjoy it.

Very realistic portrayal of just normal men trying to survive,well perhaps excluding Tom Hardy spitfire. Which seems like it was armed by a Hollywood armourer who worked on 1960 westerns.

Other then that a good flick for someone who might be a bit tired of summer popcorn action flicks
