Hello.

With the world cup around the corner, I thought I would start this thread with regular updates on our players performances during the World Cup..

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gomez are both out, meanwhile,Hendo and TAA are included in the England squad.

Grujic features for Serbia, Lovren for Croatia, Bobby for Brazil, Mane for Senegal, and VVD and Wjnaldum for Holland, and Salah for  Egypt. Migs also plays for Belgium etc.

This topic is just to monitor our players progress during tournament, so add your comments here folks..

:buttrock :p

From our point of view we don't want any of our players going to World Cup, last season was extremely tough and next season might be even tougher, especially if we manage to mount a serious title challenge.

Eight Liverpool players will represent seven different nations at this summer's World Cup finals in Russia.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, Dejan Lovren, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Simon Mignolet and Marko Grujic will be among those hoping to fire their nation to glory.

Outside of the front 3, most our key players will be watching at home and get a full pre-season.

Quite a few of those lads will probably be watching the tournament from the bench as well, City have over 20 players at the WC, it could be a factor next year.
