Sky sports are reporting that Real Madrid rejected our £158m bid for Asensio. I'd rather we went out and got Oblak and Fekir for that kind of money.

Ridiculous if true. Doesn't sound like something we'd do at all. No way we value Asensio more than we valued Coutinho, there's just no way.

No way that's true. Real Madrid are desperate for someone to take this hype job off their hands for ridiculous money so they can go and get Neymar. The lad barely starts for them, he's a perennial sub yet they want north of £150m? I say it again if Asensio was the real deal no way would Madrid be prepared to let him go.
The Real player we should be interested in is Kovacic (who can play anywhere in midfield including AM).

Shaquiri is a definate upgrade on anyone we currently have on our bench. Given the fee it's a great bit of business imo.
