He's certainly an exciting talent, although he's mainly a creator type he's still scored something like 17 goals in 26 league games in France, he's like a younger and stronger version of Mahrez.

If they don't get CL footy next year chances will tilt to our favor (if we were ever interested)..

Why would an up and coming player want to play for a ham strung manager of Chelsea if Klopp's exciting Liverpool are the alternative?

Anfield probably put the rumour out themselves...

I can understand why we'd want Fekir, he can play on any of our forward positions and can serve as a cover for any of our fab 3. But that's just the thing, will Fekir, 24 year old Lyon's captain, want to play as cover for anyone? With Pulisic, Sessegnon etc. it's different, they're young, they don't need to play every game, but if we sign Fekir we'll need to play him in every game.

Also, what's with the ridiculous prices. I know the market has been heavily inflated, but £60-70m for a player from the French league, what the f*ck?

Nothing ridiculous about 60mil for Fekir in today's market. Actually think it would represent decent value.

This summer will be crucial and time will tell if we get the players we want.

Next season Klopp will want to mount a title challenge and in order to do that he will need a big squad. The effort and energy required by Klopp means we need double each position, both good players. At least then either player can feature in pivotol games.
Imagine going for the title and in the latter stages of the FA cup and Champions league.... we need to bolster our numbers in this squad!

Why would you not believe him when he's speaking total sense. He's 68 years old but knows exactly where we stand and the issues we face.

If the players are available at the right price we'll pick'em up.

Fekir is every bit as good as Coutinho is and £80m cheaper.. I thought when Coutinho Left that Fekir was the perfect replacement. He's really grown alot as a player over the last 3 years and for £60m we are getting a real bargain in today's market. It would be good to seal the move before the world cup before his valuation doubles.

Nabil Fakir looks like a top player he reminds me of Coutinho.

Suarez being linked to a return back here.. but at 31 I'm not interested in the slightest. He's world class yes but he's past his best and there is better players on the market at a younger age at better value.

If you ask me who I'd prefer in Fekir or Suarez, I'd say Fekir in a heartbeat.

I love Suarez and his time here was golden, but he treated here like a stepping stone and also help Coutinho force a move away also.
