rodgers transfer targets havent exactly been `inspiring` since he arrived here - dempsey, ba, kalou, sturridge, signurdsson.....

Easy for you to say as an arm chair critic...

eh? says the man posting from a different country, continent, time zone and by the looks of some of your posts - planet.

as for people saying they're "not excited" by these signings, what do they expect when we're where we are? we can't attract the top names at the moment despite our big club status. huntelaar is not going to leave a CL club at this stage when they're in the last 16. there's a chance we'll have no european football at all after christmas if we get beat on thursday.

were not a midtable club mick, i wouldnt think there is a professional footballer on the planet who doesnt know who liverpool football is and that we are one of the biggest out there.
so we lie in 12th atm, thats no big deal considering the changes we have made in the last year and its not all bad because we are playing some pretty good stuff but still lacking the end product. we should be a dream for any striker looking to prove and make a name for himself but were not, we are pursuing a chelsea reject who hasnt set the world alight,he's turned us down twice before and now suddenly he thinks he's in a position to be demanding.
he would cost too much and too big a wage and he doesnt think it would be a better move for him so id question his desire to play for us.
ba for carroll would be a stoopid deal unless at least 8-10mil cash was coming with him. to trade a 22 year old that cost us 35mil back to the club that sold him to us in the first place for a 27yr old who cant settle and has dodgy knees would prove that their is idiots running this club still.
i can see us landing walcott and with the money arsenal get they will get huntelaar and arsenal are far from guranteed CL football next season.

They're not very good footballers and how on Earth will Sturridge, Walcott, Sterling (if he signs), Borini and Suarez play in the same team?
