Alonso could be heading to Barcelona as part of a £30million deal with Samuel Eto'o going to Anfield, says the Daily Mirror.
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez wants to bring Eto'o to Anfield and is prepared to offer around £30million with Spanish international Xabi Alonso to join the Spanish giants in part exchange.

:no

No way in hell would that deal be offered.

I also believe Alonso will leave. Maybe not as part of the deal described in this thread, but i reckon he will leave. Don't think he should or even want him to leave, but i just have this feeling.

I don't hope Alonso will leave but if a high enough offer comes
I'd think we should consider selling.
But I'd prefer Momo to go before Alonso.
If Alonso only added pace to his game he'd be fine.
Momo on the other hand has to add alot of things to his game.

And both Alonso and Momo want 1st team football next season or they will not be happy at all. And I see Alonso has a better chance to get that.
Barca seems to be interested in Momo also so...

Alonso is overated i said it a long time ago. He is a decent player but not world class to inconsistant. He hasn't looked happy over last few months.

So Alonso good luck in spain with Barca, we will miss you but not that much!!

Etto, and Tevez up front what a strike force Tevez  just playing behind  Etto. Goals Galore Galore Galore.

Someone find my post from a while back when i said get rid of Alonso then he is overated just like Fat Frank Lampard.

I'd also bet Welsh Wizard and Babu a tenner each that Alonso will be here next season.

Put your money where your mouth is lads :D
