To compare now with what we had illustrates our nosedive.

Average players get average results.

Our last two games.. its been Gerrard and Suarez (and a great goal from Downing)... there aint much else.

Yes we played 2 against 11 in the derby. No wonder Moyes didnt know how to handle us
We kidded stoke because we had 3 players against them. Pulis said that extra man was what swung it.

By the way what is an "average" result?
???

hang on are you saying that wishing for more than 7th place is having ridiculously high standards? or perhaps it's wishing that a £35 million player had some concept of how to play as a striker and did not need to learn it which is crazy talk?

Whoa tiger! Where did I say that?
I was merely responding to Kerrys ridiculous statement which said that the other 9 (or 8) players on the pitch have been useless in our last two games.
Of course I want to be higher than 7th. I still say we can get 4th.
And I will repeat again that Im not interested in how much Carroll cost. Its how he improves and develops which is more important to me and he has definitely done both over the last few months

Ok some intersting stats on Carroll:

we've lost 4 of our last 11 games: they are the only 4 he didn't start

This seaon, we've played 40 games in all competitions: Win%=50, PPG=1.78 | Andy Carroll (AC) Starts: P22, Win%=59, PPG=2 | AC doesnt start P18, Win%=39, PPG=1.5

In terms of 'difficulty', #LFC have played 14 games vs teams higher than them in the current table (W6 D4 L4 Win%=43)

Of those 14 games, Carroll has started 8 (W5 D1 L2, Win%=63) and not started 6 (W1 D3 L2, Win%=17)

in other words...

START ANDY CARROLL

Those stats do not surprise me.  Whenever Andy is on the pitch, evne if he is not scoring he causes defences problems, making room for other players to step in.

We should not forget football is a team game!

Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Are you sure though because I thought I heard someone say Gerrard and Suarez beat everton on their own?

I think Kerry should do the commentary for our next game ,I mean with only two players in the Liverpool team ,it has to be a relative walk in the park .
That's all I wanted to say really ......I'll get my coat

OK we might have won more games when Andy started but that's only becuase without Andy we were starting with Kuyt who has been even more confused about where the goal is than he ever was. It does not make him a good striker.
