Why sign him 'just for cover'?

Admittedly we did this with Pellegrino when Rafa first arrived but that really was a 'one off' situation.

Now Rafa's settled in, I don't think you will see him making these kind of signings anymore.

Christanval was always deemed a 'great prospect' but, like so many, he never prospered and, sadly for him, isn't half as good as anyone expected.

Christanvals garbage look at the number of clubs hes been at, thats normally a good sign of a bad player......Personally we shouldnt be looking for cover now, we should be looking for Samis replacement and Sami should be acting as cover, hes done a great job for us but hes not up to a full time job at center half, got caught to easy last night and it wont be the last time this season.
