I love how Spurs have suddenly become better than Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern, City, and Utd  :kungfu:

That's what happens when you keep hold of your best players. We wouldn't know, anytime we get near putting together a side capable of competing for the top prizes in the game we take the money and run.

That's a bit unfair, who in the Spurs side have the big Euro teams been trying to get? Kane? that was just rumours and its a bit different trying to keep hold of a British player rather than a South American. When Real came knocking on Spurs door they lost both Modric and Bale if I remember right.

The next round must avoid the Spurs.

If we are able to defend our 5-0 advantage and hopefully avoid the mighty Spurs , I would prefer to play Real Madrid because it has a sense of a European Tie rather than being drawn against an English club

I want to avoid all the English clubs, I want to avoid Spurs and City because I think they'd have too much for us over 2 legs and I want to avoid United because Mourinho is prepared to get 11 men behind the ball and use the tactics the likes of Swansea and West Brom used against us.
Since Rodgers won 3-0 at Old Trafford we have only beaten United once in 9 games (that was at Anfield in the Europa League), our recent record against them isn't good, as I said probably because United are prepared to swallow their pride and play very negatively against us.
Plus I think foreign teams are a bit more in awe of the whole Anfield thing and our record in Europe too, I'm with you, I'd rather draw a big foreign side than another English team.

Yeah, the super club that only snatched a draw at our yard by eating more grass than f*cking Qualcast ,we really need to avoid them  :;):

Spurs are probably the most beatable side we could draw in the next round. I hope we get them.

Pretty good Reg, I can't complain - thanks for asking.

Yes still in Singapore, and well.

I nearly escaped to the US but it looks like I'm going to be here in the land of hot, sweaty evenings for another 3 years....
