3 minutes? He's done at top level. His body can't cope with the demands to play at the top level anymore. It's really sad because he's had his best years stolen from him through injuries.

Needs to seriously consider retirement, soul destroying chasing the past and constantly in recovery from injuries.

Bright lad get into the TV stuff and move on.

He is 28 and has one good season in his entire career, and that was when Suarez was on fire.

That's harsh on Studge, he's shown he certainly has/had the ability to be a 20 goal a season striker if his body would let him.

I think it's time to consider retirement. Even if he was to recover I'm not sure he'd even be the same player.

Is it really harsh? He has scored more than 20 goals a season only once. The rest of the seasons he finishes with less than 10 goals, mostly around 5 goals a season.
There are plenty of strikers with one wonderseason, and i'm not so sure Sturridge is that much better. Sure he has had a lot of injuries, but he wasnt all that special before that one season with Suarez either.

He still has a few good seasons left in him I believe, and I personally would keep him, as if Firmino gets injured, we only have solanke and Ings to fill in, who are both Unproven in the first team.

To be fair to Sturridge, he has only been a bit-part player since Klopp took over, and as we all know any player needs a good run in the team to find any decent form.

When fit, he is a very good player and we could still use him.

Klopp doesn't rate him and it's best for everyone that he moves on.

Klopp needs grafters and Sturridge isn't going to run 50 yards to perform defensive cover. Even when fit and full of pace he wasn't one for that. He just doesn't fit with our style anymore. And we'll be lucky to find a buyer given his huge wage.

Yup if he rarely starts for West Brom they won't even bother taking him on perm and to be fair who else will. I think it will be a similar case as Enrique.

Should have got rid of him 2 years ago, we all knew he was finished even then. 100k a week for what exactly?

He won't be a replacement should Firmino (touch wood) get injured...his body could not cope with the demand Klopp wanted from his No.9 and it will disrupt the rhythm of the team...and that's why the likes of him, Balo and Bentake won't get a second look

Sad to see his career like this.

Fingers crossed he gets fit for the World Cup and has a decent tournament. That's the only way we'll find a buyer.
