The players did well today, to go in 1 down at HT yet still emerge with the 3 points takes a bit of doing.
Because everything is so tight at the top we couldn't afford to drop any points and thankfully we didn't.

Manure drew 0-0 against Southampton and are now down to third. We are only 3 points behind them.

We have the momentum now and the Van Dyk bounce in New Year.

Did well to battle back after a poor start and Leicester are still a handful in their day.

Just seen United and we should definitely finish above them, we are different class.

Ya, Mo has been nothing short of brilliant for us. He has saved our bacon so many times this season.
Mane have clearly not been able to handle not being the top dog anymore. Mo is better, simple as.
Happy we didn't p*ss away another game, which we have done so many times this season.

Mane will come good again. Hes good mates with Salah and his form will pick up.

A good win, however, the 3 points was more important, the main outstanding players were CAN (who will be on his way to Italy) he single-handed controlled our midfield! and Salah, I have initially doubted some of his qualities, however, what I am impressed with his attitude, desire to win, above all his excellent work rate! and it wasn't for him, I couldn't see any of the forwards would score, not for sure our infamous CF master of the duds!!!!.
We for sure need more players on the team like CAN and Salah.

If we beat Burnley as well, I'll be well pleased with the xmas results. Utd have got Everton away, which could be tricky, and if we beat Burnley, we will be very close to them if they drop points again.

Mane is a different type of player to salah, more slippery type skills, whereas salah is more direct, which is why he is so effective.

As long as we finish above the scum I'm happy.

Bring on 2018. Happy new year all! :)

Mane just needs a goal to get his spark back. He still does a good job he cleverly assisted Salah today.
I'm sure Mane will score soon and hopefully it will be against Burnley.

Its lucky we have Salah scoring goals, you wouldn't believe we have 2 expensive strikers on the books hiding around Melwood or so I've been told.

I'll give Solanke some slack due to age but the other two  :no ... what a waste of wages

Very good win that. 12 months ago we'd have struggled to make that 1-1.

At least with the attack we have a fighting chance of breaking stubborn teams down a bit better nowadays. And at home has where it has been tough. Better defensively, less goals in attack as we face bus parkers. But Leicester aren't any normal bus parkers they have their own threat going forward and aren't a bad team by any stretch IMO.

Vardy, Mahrez and Gray will keep most defences honest. And that sloppy pass from Matip which caught Can on his heels that lead to their goal was the worst thing we displayed on an otherwise decent performance. The lads rolled their sleeves up and gritted that out which finally, was a pleasure to see.

Happy with that performance and much as the tonkings we hand out.

Well done Reds for seeing the year off in such determined fashion.
