Timo Horn revealed he was approached by us last week but didnt want the move means Karius was down the list.

Might have more to do with the fact that Napoli were sniffing around Migs than Karius.

Liked the look of Timo Horn. Same age as Karius but the better keeper imo

Seems a nice lad, but like Migs he isn't good enough for the places we want to go.  Would keep as a back-up, but suspect that Klopp will spend big on a keeper in the summer and that'll be the end for Loris at LFC

Should have saved Sane shot. When the guy poised to shoot, he still had a lot to do and the keeper should be saving that at the near post...

Him and Mignolet need to go..

He should have saved Sane's shot but i wouldn't exactly class it as a clanger, put it this way the goal won't be making it onto any football funnies compilations or anything like that. It was struck pretty hard.

It wasn't just the goal....when city hit the post, Loris was rooted to the spot. I just don't think he's got what it takes.

Bring in a very good goalie and keep Karius as backup.

I have no confidence in this lad at all.

Between both keepers we're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Same

Might be good and quick off his line and his distribution is decent, but his positioning is bad, flaps on crosses and not good at saves. Hopefully Klopp signs a new GK this summer.

I prefer him to Mignolet, we defend better when Karius plays and generally there is less panic amongst the  defence and his distribution is pretty good however like others have said his shot stopping ability is very average, everything seems to go straight through him.

I would give him at least the number one spot till the end of the season mate. This way we can see if he improves or not.

If he doesn't, well first thing we do in the summer is buy a GK.

Yep that's right. Migs has proven over a sustained period of time be isn't the answer. Give Karius the rest of the season the claim the jersey and if he doesn't then we have buy a new number 1.

In all honesty his part in the first goal was overstated and unsurprisingly by that big nosed Manc who had a public falling out with Karius last year.

Still it went right through him, he should not get beaten near post. A good goalie would have saved it.
