Liverpool Football Club - Games

Here we go again  :buttrock
Not long now till we kick off the preseason with an outing at Prenton Park and while it will be great to see us play I wouldn't expect a decent line up for this. Ojo was tweeting that some of the lads were feeling the pressure as Klopp has them doing double training sessions so I would expect nothing more than a young side starting. I Hope that includes Gomez, Grujic and the new boy Solanke as I have never seen him play. Even with a young side we should be favourites and hopefully we get to witness a goal fest  :;):

Tranmere are non league these days so you'd like to think we will be putting a few past them but if I remember correctly when we played them last year Jurgen had our lads doing laps of Melwood in the morning and used the game purely as an extra fitness session.
I think tomorrow's game will be more about building up stamina than anything else.

Salah won't feature due to some visa or immigration shyte.

Yup tomorrow will be about slowly getting the lads fitness back.

Wasn't a bad little run out that considering it was our first game in 8 weeks. Thought Grujic looked good first half and Kent and Solanke looked sharp in the second half.

Missed the first half watched the 2nd one. Yeah Solanke looked quite good, young lads did decent in the 2nd half. Good run around over all for the lads.

Was a bit surprised to see Markovic included in the line up. Thought he was on his way out, was Kloppo giving him a chance to impress ?

If he did, Lazar sure didn't take it.

I just don't think there were many options. Wilson, Coutinho and Lallana will be available soon enough so I don't see him get any more minutes after the Wigan game on Friday.

We play Wigan tomorrow night so the games are coming thick and fast at the moment, all designed to build up the player's stamina no doubt.
