New Kit

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I know its neither here nor there in football terms but love the new kit, the strip almost mirrors the Hitachi one in late 70s so is special to me as the first one I got as a boy, full kit and trackie  :nod

Realise its a special addition but its classic simplicity with a badge synonymous with Liverpool, they usually get this wide of the mark but bang on the money this time  :buttrock

Yeah it does look a bit like the old Hitachi kit, certainly one of the better ones that we've had in recent years.

The new kit is a thing of beauty, has a real classic vibe about it my only worry is that all the warrior/new balance kits have this horrible cheap feeling material so I will wait till I see it in the flesh before making a proper judgement

Just taken delivery of my pre order shirt, it is bloody lovely !!

The material is great, size is accurate (they can be a bit funny sometimes) and fits well

The color and look reminds me of one of the very first Hitatchi kits I had at the beginning of the early 80's and kind of reminds me of the early Crown Paints shirts

Very pleased with it here, New Balance have done a great job in this shirt  :hearts  :hearts

I also received a £10 voucher to use in the LFC shop or online

Thanks for the update i really like the look of the shirt but was concerned about the quality as all material on the Warrior/NB kits so far have felt a bit cheap, so i may buy this one i haven't got a kit since that majestic black and silver away shirt Adidas made in 2011.

I always feel too old for replica kits, I know all ages wear thats just me.

I read that the club are selling a cheaper replica kit in China for half the price but would like to see this rolled out everywhere.

If we dont roll out the idea in the UK I suspect it will be a matter of time until another club does.

I am expecting mine in the next couple of days and I must say it is the first kit I have been excited about since our deal with NB. I have Kazza on the back of mine and Little Kazza for my boy

Need to get him back on track since he now likes Barcelona since Suarez left. Need to put his name since we don't know from season to season what player will still be with us  :glare:

That is a bit on the garish side mate, not easy on the eye at all, in fact the stripey bit reminds me of an optical illusion puzzle or something

Not sure I like that one at all, I do love the new home kit though. I never realized how orange we had become until I saw the old kit and new kit next to each other.
