Didnt know that we have Messi ( Moreno) on our books
Edit: And he did his best Messi impression scissor kick inside the box, but unfortunately hit the defender!

He's Messi but he's no lionel  :D

Great reaction...and we need to keep pace. PL top scoring team keep the goals coming...next Man City!

Yeah me too, I was fearing the worst in that opening half hour. What made the response even better was that the title was probably on the line there tonight. If we would have found ourselves 9 points behind Chelsea with City next up that could have been all she wrote.

Fantastic response after going down 1-0 after more dreadful defending......

Lallana is really starting to look like the player we paid for, while our ever working midfield looked excellent yet again.

We go on, time to end City's season and send Pep packing back to the continent   :buttrock

Stoke are tricky fkrs to say the least and our overall performance throughout the game was hugely impressive. So many of the lads are playing brilliantly time and time again. Firmino repaid us in the best way possible, after his act of stupidity, with a MOTM performance. Mané, Henderson, Origi, Clyne and Lallana all put in fantastic shifts. The work rate is phenomenal. Danny coming off the bench showed how dangerous he can be.

Their goal continues to raise question marks about our defence. Mign should have done better but in all honesty they should never have been given the opportunity to cross the ball. Our defence was poor but all defences do make mistakes and Mign certainly redeemed himself with an amazing save when Stoke very nearly went 2-0.

A very good win, the team played very well and with a good response after went behind. The same is required in the next game.

Who's going to start the City thread? Last time I started a match thread the club pretty much descended into chaos  :D
It wasn't just the fact that we got beat at home by Palace, nor the fact Mingolet had a shocker, no, what made this game particularly memorable (for all the wrong reasons) was that this was the game where Jurgen called out our fans for leaving early. This was the game that prompted his 'I felt alone' comment.
Well I don't need to remind you of all the arguments that broke out within our fan base over the next week or so and with all that in mind I think it's safer if someone else starts the City thread  :nod  :D
