tbh i don't think Danny and Jurgen have really seen eye to eye from the minute Jurgen walked through the door.

We should make a cheeky bid for Mahrez, even though they won't sell him.

Apparently City are looking at Van Dijk as the long term CB partner for Stones.

This morning I hope Klopp walks into his office, sits at his desk, opens his pad and picks up his pen and puts together a plan to launch 'Operation Find a Keeper' .

Schimichael. He'll be ready for a move now that Leicester have bombed. Right kind of leadership qualities + a skilled player.

our problems are deeper than Karius mate. We've got a midfield that can play some nice forward passes and crosses but can't control the game. We've got a defense that doesn't know what's happening. If you allow an opponent to tee up the ball inside the penalty box and your defenderss are in sixes and sevens, 9 times out of 10, a competent premier league player can put the ball in the net.

Not a bad shout, we don't need a superstar we just need someone who's steady. Karius may come good in the future but at the moment he looks a bag of nerves, even when he makes a save he doesn't look convincing, the ball seems to squirm through his hands and then spins over the bar or past the post on a freakish trajectory. You don't sort of say to yourself 'good save', you say 'f[uckin]g hell, what happened there? That could have went anywhere'.

Jan Oblak is the best keeper I have seen but doubt we would get him.

Schmichael is a very good goalie and an upgrade for us, I think we took a chance on Karius who may very well turn into a top keeper but probably needed another club in England before us and it seems a jump too far for him.

Unfortunately ambition and expectations are such we dont have time to wait for anyone.

Always vary of writing someone off early. I know Karius is young but then so is that young kid Jordan Pickford at Sunderland and he has a presence about him which Karius doesn't have at the moment. He may come good, but as it stands today he is no better than Mignolet on what I've seen. That may well change by the end of the season however.

Suppose we could ship out Mignolet and bring in a top keeper and have Karius as backup

Another CB like Matip is crucial. If one is injured atleast we can rely on the other to rally the lads.
Van Dijk seems to fit the picture however i think our transfer groceries store in Southampton may overprice him.
Im sure i read somewhere he has a 25mill release clause.

Apparently the Dutch press are reporting that United are absolutely determined to get Van Dijk in January, given the way United have been throwing money around like a drunken sailor lately I'm starting to think our chances of signing the Dutchman are pretty fvcking slim.
