Liverpool vs Leeds EFL 29th 19:45

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby redshade » Wed Nov 30, 2016 10:10 am

We are through with Hull. Rafa side lost yesterday.

Todays fixtures

Arsenal vs Southampton

Man.Utd vs West Ham

Semi is 2 Legs so i would prefer to avoid Arsenal or Man utd. I would love a double header with United but playing with too much intensity In  busy Jan period is not ideal.
Hope we get Hull.

Leeds has made it hard for us, and they could have easily won it!, and in end the youngsters proved to be the match winners. I was very impressed with youngsters rather than established first team players!.

Origi need to improve very fast, he had wasted too many chances by his stupid fancy foot work, which mostly resulted of losing the ball between his balls!.. He has not improved at all since joining us.  Woodburn  whom I have watched him in per-season games whereas he had showed his prospect then, and I hope he can continue to progress the right way to be a complete striker. Well done lads.

Man of the match was CAN the man, I just wish we have three more players like him. Wijnadum played his first best game ever, however I really don't rate him at all, and I this £25M tag price, is a total waste of money!.. I hope he can improve. Lucas played well too.

A hard fought win, and best of luck for the next round.

How can someones personal opinion be wrong? It's their opinion on what they saw.
I though Origi was OK but nothing special, Can was slightly average too. They're my opinions are they wrong too?

I actually think that compared to southampton, the man u match would have been in a way 'easier'. 2 big teams going at each other which is always straight forward for us and we would be up for it. Teams like Southampton would take this competition more seriously. They would be up for it probably more than we are, and from the match we had with them they will be a very tough team to beat.

Maureen will set his team up to park the bus. klopp has no luck in finals. I'm expecting if we do get there we won't win it.

If we get to the final Klopp must win otherwise him losing in another final will start to become a stigma for him.

Yeah if Maureen gets to the final with us he will park that bus. problem is Maureens bus is hard to break down. I hope somehow Hull win.

As redshade points out earlier in the thread though mate we have got a lot of tough matches coming up in the New Year including 3 potentially pivotal league games against City, United and Chelsea. The last thing we needed was 2 titanic semi's against United slap bang in the middle of all that lot, especially when Mane will be at the African Cup of Nations as well (not to mention Coutinho's injury, who knows how long he will be out?).
I know what you're saying but we've got enough on our plate as it is mate.
