I agree with that line up. I would however consider switching Rashford for Studge and Vardy upfront.

The football at this tournament has been pretty drab so far. It's being played at what seems like a walking pace. Hopefully the knockout stages will add a bit of spice to games

Congratulations Wales ,superb performance against Russia and deserved winners of the group ,England could possibly now face Portugal due to the manager changing a winning team and subsequently dropping arguably its two best performers in Rooney and Walker ....This is a tournament that is all about consistency and finding your best 11 players that can gel as a team  in such a short space of time ,its about playing 3 games to win your group and then a further 3 to push  yourself to the final ,it really beggars belief why you need to rest your two most important players .

Hodgson is a proper odd bod  :D

England will play Iceland....thank feck for that. I recon Portugal would have ended the Euros for England.

If England progress they are set up with the tougher opponents. Could potentially face France, Spain, Germany.

I want wales to do well they have a slightly easier run in. Would love to see them go all the way.

This Euro must be the most boring Euro ever... I don't know why, I can't put my finger to it...

I hear they've started a petition not to accept the result of the game and demand a replay.

Is it even surprising. Roy made mistake after mistake and took needless risks

Persisting with 2 strikers across a front 3 - shifting Sturridge out wide rendering him ineffective. Persisting with Kane even though he proved in the first 2 games he wasn't up to it.
Brining Vardy on to unlock a deep flat back 4 which he doesn't do.
Bringing Rashford on for 5 minutes when it was clear he was needed a lot sooner.
Dropping Lallana when he was one of our better players throughout the tournament
Dropping Sterling and then reintroducing him - this is tournament football, you're there or your not. Bringing him in and out of the side is senseless
Picking Wilshere
And Joe Hart has proven he has a mistake in him, 5 shots on goal and 4 conceded. He had two crucial saves to make and fluffed them both (v Wales and Iceland)

Ladies and gentlemen, Roy Hodgson - but we already knew this
