Oh well - chance to create a little bit of history at one of the oldest grounds in world football.
Played well enough to win, but that's the FA Cup. Win some lose some.
Good night all.

Absolutely criminal that we've lost that.. Benteke must take some blame missing chance after chance after chance. It's hard to stomach these collapses every game, we haven't got the fight in us at the moment.

Was never a foul that.

Benteke costed us the game in this one, but TBH there was something in there in that Sturridge-Benteke partnership. Still a League Cup and Europa League to play for, all is not lost.

Oh dear....  Liverpool snatch defeat from the jaws of victory just in time to disappoint the fans.     :bowdown

We have waited long enough for Benteke to get his sh1t together.
What a waste.
Why can't we defend set pieces?

That was never a free kick, that West Ham player was flopping on floor at every opportunity once Carroll came on and the ref fell for it hook line and sinker.
Plenty of positives to take from that game though.

This club needs a massive clean-out from top to bottom:

FSG
Transfer Committee
Ian Ayre and his cronies
Every player except for Coutinho and Sturridge

Tonight Klopp will finally realise he is buried in a labyrinth of steaming piles of s**t.

F**k this is depressing......

I thought there were a lot of positives to take from that game myself, when I saw the team sheet I thought we were going to get battered but the young lads did themselves proud.

Anyone blaming Lucas at the end there needs to have a f**king word with themselves. He played well all night out of position and Valencia threw himself down under hardly any contact, as he did all night. Disgraceful little 'man'.

We had plenty of chances to bury West Ham and didn't. We are largely to blame for our own downfall but we didn't deserve that bullsh** decision at the death.

Klopp looks broken. If the season finished tomorrow I think he'd be delighted. This bunch of excuses for footballers  (not the kids tonight who did well, I mean the regulars) are ruining his reputation. 95% of them are not fit to wear the shirt. Haven't felt this low (as far as LFC is concerned) since the Hodgson era. Depressing.

Our useless d1ck of a keeper looked like he sat down and waved at the ball as it sailed past him at the end.
So fuck1ng sick of this repeated disappointment.
The thing is, I'm expecting the worst with every match now, and keep getting slagged for being pessimistic. I don't think it's pessimistic, it's realistic.
I feel sick. Think I'll go and get p1ssed.

Overall I think we played some impressive football. Unfortunately Christian's confidence is in the bin. He's spent a lot of time on the bench and it is probably taking it's toll mentally. Given his recent performances It is no surprise that JK doesn't start him. After tonight Benteke might struggle to get another start in the near future. Looks more like 32p than £32m  :help

The good news was Coutinho's brilliant free kick and a very impressive Danny. Smith continues to impress. The other kids also played well.

West Ham were denied a stone wall penalty and made our lives very difficult. Let's face it getting beaten 3 times in a season by West Ham sums up just about where we are !!
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years (10 years
are in brackets)
LFC £255m (£467m)
Everton £38m (£287m)
Arsenal £645m6 (£925m)
Spurs £510m (£541m)
Chelsea £788m (£1007m)
Man City £307m (£1012m)
Man United £702m (£1249m)

I know he missed a few sitters but I thought Benteke's general play was much better tonight, he worked hard and held the ball up well. I thought Ilorri and Lucas looked pretty composed at the back too.
Stewart ran his @rse off as did Smith who reminds me a bit of Alan Kennedy.
As I said plenty of positives to take from that game, not least the return of Sturridge and Coutinho.
