Liverpool V Sunderland - EPL - 6th February 2016

Mignolet - 1 - Very much at fault for the first goal, not prepared to listen to anyone defending him, he is Sh*t
Clyne -5 - looks great going forward (with no end product) but caught out of position far too often
Moreno - 5 -exactly the same as Clyne
Lovren - 5 - lad went off early with injury, perhaps we wouldn't have caved in if he wan on the pitch
Sakho - 4 - looked very poor again
Allen - 5 - another who looked ok before going off injured
Henderson - 3 - who is this person dressed up as Hendo ?
Can - 5 - needs a lot of time to be ready, will he ever be
Milner - 5 - nice cross for Firmino's goal, can't think of anything else
Lallana - 6 - took his goal well, but not much else from him
Firmino - 8.5 - scored one and made one, he must be wondering what the hell is going on around him, the one shining light

Subs...
Toure - 4 - usual Toure
Lucas - 4 - looked like a boy against men when Sunderland muscled their way back to 2-2
Ibe - 4 - headless chicken

Mignolet - 3 - Disappinted with the 1st goal, otherwise not that bad
Clyne -4 - he goes forward often, but is Sh*t with his feet
Moreno - 4 - also goes forward, but lacks the brain to do something with it
Lovren - 5 - injured early, so not too bad when he was on
Sakho - 3 - just awful. Can you stop a striker once in a while?
Allen - 5 - Did ok
Henderson - 4 - Him being captain says a lot
Can - 5 - Like many on the team, lots of energy but little brain
Milner - 6 - at least you know what you get from Milner. Solid, but unspectacular
Lallana - 6 - did ok, scored another goal!!!!
Firmino - 8 - one of the few who actually has skill and a brain

Subs...
Toure - 4 - time go go this summer
Lucas - 3 - I've said enough about Lucas
Ibe - 4 - Just never makes the right decision

Ibe - 5 - missing

Mignolet - 6 - can't really blame him for anything. Playing with one of the worse defensive units and all the pressure gets pinned on him, not easy that.
Flannagan - 7 - good game
Illori - 6 - a game of ups and downs but I think he did OK overall. His game intelligence is evident IMO and should be given more chances.
Lucas - 7 - out of position but his experience showed
Smith - 7 - goes forward well and a lot of fight in him. Should have probably covered Antonio better for their goal though
Chirivella - 6.5 - kid looks good, some nice touches and passing. Naturally ran out of steam at the end.
Stewart - 6.5
Ibe - 5
Coutinho - 6
Teixeira - 6
Benteke - 4 - costed us the game really, no excuse for those misses, but like I said in the match thread, his partnership with Sturridge showed some promise.

Subs:
Origi - 6
Sturridge - 6.5 - hope he stays fit this time
Milner - 5

MINGOLET - 5 couldn't really be blamed for any of the goals but flapped at a few few crosses and his kicking was erratic (as per usual)
FLANAGAN - 5 looked a bit rusty I thought
ILORRI - 7 one or two loose passes but otherwise did well against a powerful West Ham attack
LUCAS - 7 played really well in an unfamiliar position
SMITH - 7 left for dead once or twice but his hard running style caused West Ham real problems
STEWART - 7 never mind the team I think this lad covered the 120km on his own
CHIVRELLA - 7 looked composed in the middle, for an 18 year old brought up on a totally different style of footy I thought he did very well
TEXIERA - 7 thought he linked up play really well
IBE - 6 some good moments but drifted in and out of the game
BENTEKE - 7 missed some sitters but I thought he really tried his heart out tonight
COUTINHO - 7 oh how we've missed this fella

Aston Villa V Liverpool - EPL - Sunday 14th February 2016

Mignolet - 6 - nothing to do really
Clyne - 7.5 - best game for a while and scored, well done
Toure - 7 - scored a rare goal, first for 4 years
Sakho - 7 - was solid, won everything
Moreno - 7 - best game for a while
Can - 7.5 - solid, very sweetly taken goal
Henderson - 5 - thought he was poor
Milner - 8 - possibly his best game for us, scored that goal/cross but worked very hard
Coutinho - 7.5 - some of his passing was sublime, still finding his way back
Firmino - 9 - thought this guy was great, works so hard for the team, so much unnoticed
Sturridge - 7.5 - scored a nice header, still not looking 100% but it will come

Subs....

Benteke - 4 - poor, lack of effort
Origi - 6.5 - took his goal really really well, noticed he keeps running the ball out of play quite often when he gets to by line
Stewart - 6 - did fine on his EPL debut, played a lovely diaganol ball into box for clyne as well

MINGOLET - 6 he was a spectator really
CLYNE - 7 raided well down the right hand side and scored a good goal
TOURE - 7 solid performance topped off with a goal
SAKHO - 7 his best performance since he's returned from injury
MORENO - 6.5 did well
HENDERSON - 6 worked hard but a bit lax in possession
CAN - 7 his best performance in a while too
MILNER - 6.5 his goal was a bit flukey but he does do a lot of covering and tracking back
FIRMINO - 7.5 such a clever player, linked up really well with Coutinho and Sturridge
COUTINHO - 8 superb performance
STURRIDGE - 7.5 set the ball rolling with a well taken goal, we are a completely different team when he plays that's how much of a difference he makes.

Mignolet - 6 - nothing to do
Clyne - 7 - good game and a goal
Toure - 7 - gave me a laugh today :D, in a positive way of course
Sakho - 7 - was an easy game for the defenders today tbh
Moreno - 6
Henderson - 6 - hard work as per usual but not much more
Can - 7 - good game and good goal
Milner - 7 - the goal aside thought he was solid today
Coutinho - 8 - my MOTM. Had a few excellent through balls and 2 of those ended up assisting to a goal. Hope him and Sturridge stay fit forever!
Firmino - 7 - kinda slow at times and too relaxed but a classy player nonetheless. Good assist too.
Sturridge - 7.5 - like others have said, completely different team with him.

Subs:
Origi - 7 - well taken goal. I like his style as well, always on the edge of offside and looking to make a run, defenders hate that.
Stewart - 6 - nice to see the lad given some time. Did OK I thought
Benteke - 5

MINGOLET, 6 Did well defending corners
CLYNE , 6 Better than he has been recently
TOURE,- 6 Wandering over to the left flank leaving Sakho alone in the middle is never a good look for a defence ,but loved his celebration for the goal
SAKHO , 7 Performed well
MORENO , 7 Our best defender on the day
HENDERSON , 5 Where has he gone ? if the lads still feeling his foot he shouldn't be playing
CAN , 7 Looked ok but wanted too much time on the ball
MILNER , 6 Shows conviction ,but he's slow to react to the counter
FIRMINO ,8 Scares the life out of defences never gives up on winning the ball back ,showed some delightful touches and deft passes.
COUTINHO 7 For only his second game back he was brilliant ,when he returns to full fitness he will spark our frontline to genius.
STURRIDGE 7 Made up he's back as his movement creates havoc in defences ,still short of fitness and a touch fragile so I can understand him jumping out of tackles ,but the two footed leap into the air away from a defenders lunge is a bit extreme  ???

Mignolet 4

Beaten at near post for first, stuck on his line for the second, bit of a shocker.

Clyne 5

Booked. Pulled out of position too often when Arsenal broke.

Toure 5

Willing but the old legs are creaking. Turned inside out for Arsenal's third

akho 6

Does the basics of defending so well even if distribution is limited.

Moreno 3

Arsenal ruthlessly exploited his severe defensive limitations at every opportunity.

Can 5

Worked hard but lacked quality in the middle of the park.

Henderson 6

Great tackle to set up Firmino's second, decent display from captain.

Milner 7

Enjoyed playing as an out-and-out winger, involved in both goals

Lallana 6

A real mixed bag in his central attacking role.

Firmino 8

Two beautiful early finishes showed he can play as a makeshift No 9.

Ibe 6

Quick and lively but his inexperienced showed at times.

Subs: Benteke (for Milner, 66 mins, 6), Allen (for Can, 82 mins), Caulker (for Lallana, 88 mins)
