The penalty was soft, but then again if you wave your arms around like a fanny in the box you're bound to give away a pen sooner or later.

Would like to see Hendo and Sturridge eased back in as they're important first team players. Perhaps both can get 30 mins against Southampton on Wednesday in the cup?

thought Moreno was top draw today, was kicked from pillar to post and got on with it regardless, improving big time

Hmmm i thought he was a rabbit on cocaine...Making up for his mental mistakes with speed and force...But overall not impressed ,again ,with the lad...I don't see him connecting very well with the attack ,he just spends a lot of energy over nothing.

This ^^^
Even when we were top dogs in the 70's and 80's we still racked up plenty of scrappy wins like today, the main thing is that today's result leaves us just 6 points off the top of the table with a trip to struggling Newcastle next up, now I'm not saying we should count our chickens but there is definately an opportunity there for us to make up even more ground.
Granted on paper Arsenal and Chelsea seem to have easy fixtures themselves next week but United play West Ham, City are away to Stoke, Spurs are away to West Brom, Leicester are away to Swansea and Everton play Palace at Goodison so there could be one or two dropped points there.

Arsenal are also in the middle of an injury crisis. Sanchez was stretchered off today with a hamstring problem.

I'm sure the crowd could do a lot more to help the team get past these sides who set out to frustrate us, in fact I think it's probably got to the stage where opposition teams sit in team meetings and discuss how they can use our own crowd as part of their strategy to beat us.

Great to see us actually hold onto a lead and close the game out professionally ,and its another important step on the way to consistency. I thought Can was exceptional in the middle in the absence of Lucas ,he looked world class out there earlier. I would have liked to have seen Firmino working alongside Sturridge two intelligent forward players on a similar wavelength ,and delighted to see Henderson return, another player back in the fold who can deliver that killer ball.

Three victories on the spin and three points sees us move up to sixth ,just four points behind the Goonerz . Everything surrounding this great old club just feels right again !

Brendan took all the enthusiasm out of the club.. It seems hard for the fans to get excited about anything.

Klopp must have heard great things about the "best fans in the world" and how European nights are special at Anfield.. and to me it seems like the support has been pretty flat.

They will in time.
Trust between the fans and the club need time to heel.
Dr. Klopp will get this done...
