I watched the new Jurassic movie, Jurassic World.

People being eaten by dinosaurs then more people being eaten by dinosaurs then a genetically modified t-rex.

modified t-rex battle with a normal t-rex and raptors.

What not to like about that movie.

:D

Caught an interesting movie called Timbuktu last night.

It's a glimpse into the lives of people in an area taken over by one of those groups of Jihadis' and the effect it has on them   e.g football is banned so the kids play footy with an imaginary ball !

The movie also has ironically an ultra cool Malian soundtrack, I say "ironically" as it stems from an area were music has also been banned

Directed by a Mauritanian the movie's in French with English subs but well worth a look if you want a change from the usual Hollywood fare.

Afraid not... it's PG13... the most controversial scene is the actress flirting with extremely dangerous dinosaurs in high heels...

btw... watched Terminator: Genisys recently...

It's not too bad. Rate it 3.5 out of 5. Have to say that Terminator 2 was one of my favourite movies of all time. The sequels after it were disappointing, with Terminator: Salvation the most disappointing. This one saved the series a bit. But could be alot better. The characters were alot more interesting than T3 and Salvation, however the pace and the atmosphere just aren't on the same level as T2.

If you want to be entertained, go and watch. But don't expect a classic...

Caught up with few movies released over last couple of years that I hadn't seen so far as Pay TV decided to give us free movies for a fortnight

Fury: Gritty enough and some great action scenes though I cant put my finger on why but just felt too contrived trying to show true brutality of war.
The Hollywood like shootout at the end didn't help either nor did Brad Pitt's hair

November Man: Pierce back as type of anti-Bond spy movie which maybe due to my low expectations enjoyed far more then I thought I would
The very easy on the eye Olga Kurylenko in a supporting role certainly helped

3 Day to Kill: This time Kevin Costner as dying CIA agent trying to reconnect to his family and carry out a job in action/comedy was also far better then I expected
Paris locales and good supporting cast helped the cause

Today's movies suck.

Actually I was going to add more, but meh! Look at what is coming, Batman v Superman, Affleck as Batman f*ck OFF!
