Manure losing was a welcome relief. I would love it if they end up losing all their remaining games.

Only thing to make this a perfect week.....is to beat aston villa and get to the final. Rodgers has been outsmarted numerous times by paul lambert..... its bewildering to say the least. Hopefully with Timmy in charge now, he will have more luck against the villains.

Hope he doesn't put gerrard straight back into the team. If we start with Lucas and Henderson, and keep things simple (like not trying to play like Barcelona from the back), we should win this game.

What the f**K........ I said no gerrard and Rodgers brings him in right away. Surely he has to go now rite ?

lets not lose focus here now, Manc Utd are no way certain to get anything from Palace and Arsnail. It's very possible they'll get 3 or 4  points from them last 3 fixtures. However, we have to do our bit too.

The odds are stacked against us I'm afraid, United's loss against West Brom was the first time that they've lost 3 on the bounce in 13 years and we'd need them to extend that poor run of form even further, we'd need them to go on their worst run in something like a quarter of a century which seems unlikely.
Wether we are capable of beating Chelsea down there is open to question too (although them winning the title will undoubtedly help, teams deffo lose their edge once they've won the league).
Us finishing 4th is highly unlikely (but still mathematically possible) so we've just got to hope for a miracle.

That would still mean United finishing the season with 4 losses and 2 draws from their last 6 games which would constitute their worst run of results in a very long time but saying that the scenario you've drawn up there isn't that far fetched.
