Liverpool Football Club - Games

After not being able to break down a pretty tame WBA side, we need to sort this formation and starting 11 out, if he gets this wrong then Hull will turn us over for sure, they are a very tricky team and are grinding out results fairly consistently

We need to take advantage of this game in hand and grab all 3 points, we as fans are owed a big performance after the Villa shaming and a lack of cutting edge against the baggies

With Sturridge out i think we should persist with either Balotelli or Borini up front, BUT... with sterling playing further forward nearer the striker and not wasted out on one of the wing back positions

Jordan Ibe must play as well and hopefully Lallana will be fit enough to start the match

SG needs to be dropped and with Lucas out for a while, i would go with Henderson and Allen in the centre

Looks like there is going to be some sort of protest over ticket prices during this game, both managers have commented on it.

Supposedly SOS have stated no Liverpool supporters will be travelling to the game ,that's the form the protest will take.

I'd go with this:

                               Mignolet

Manquillo         Skrtel         Lovren          Johnson

                              Gerrard

                Henderson          Coutinho

                              Sterling

                    Borini           Balotelli

Gerrard, Lovren, Johnson and Borini in the same line up?  :Oo:

Yes. The main point is getting the most out ofour top performers. At this point in time, Sterling and Coutinho are. We also need a bit more firepower upfront and Borini is one of the few options we have for the position. With regards to Gerrard, I still think he offers more going forward and in terms of creating chances than the likes of Allen and Lucas do. Not much to pick between Can and Henderson (didnt pick him ahead of Manquillo or Johnson because I think he could use the rest) and with Ibe, Markovic and Lambert we have decent options to bring off the bench.

Rumours circulating say Yesil is in the squad for the trip to Hull ,if its true I'd pair him up alongside Mario ,I really like this kid and he definitely has
a genuine eye for goal ,and we so need a poacher right now !

I mean lets face facts here ,for us to claw back United we need  them to have a collapse of biblical proportions ,so now is the time to introduce fresh blood.
I would personally play Markovic in place of Sterling tonight as his directness and pace could cause Hull all sorts of problems ,Sterling has been woeful in his
last few games ,and the manager rewards him with continuity whilst certain players are systematically withdrawn from the team /squad after one bad
performance.

I'd go along with aces back four ,but would pair Henderson in the middle with Allen and leave Can in front of the defence instead of Gerrard  ,I'd also like to see
Lallana being introduced for Coutz if he's being denied the space and closed down ,Lallana has a lot more to his game than what we have seen thus far ,and he
should be contesting on a more consistent basis with  Coutinho for that berth.

Given injuries etc this is the team I'd go with tonight -

                            Mingolet

               Can        Lovren       Skrtel

Ibe        Henderson     Lallana       Moreno

                Coutinho       Markovic

                          Sterling

I'd give Lallana a run out in midfield, our CM's have been awful lately so I'd just try something different. As for Markovic I think AM is his best position, he's wasted out wide.
