Anyone else a bit wary about the hype Fortitude is getting ?

On the outside it looks outstanding - great cast but with the constant advertising from Sky im worried that it will be disappointing ?

Now that one I am happy about

Anybody watching Agent Carter, I had pretty low expectations especially after the dreadful agents of shield.

However quite enjoying this albeit after only three episodes

Funnily enough I watched the first two episodes last night, at Mrs Woof's insistence ! I don't normally tune into stuff like Agents of Shield, The Flash etc etc but I was pleasantly surprised by Agent Carter. Enjoyed the comic book style and all the retro 1940's fashion and furnishings, will catch ep 3 tonight   :)

for Netflix/Prime subscribers I really think you should watch 'The League'
It's about some Americans in an American football dream team league, but it's just awesome. It's similar to It's always sunny in Philadelphia. Clever adult humour. Took a few episodes to get into but as you watch more and more it just becomes way too addictive.

Going to start on black Sails soon. Got to admit I'm enjoying Murder in the first, but Constantine is like a poor mans Supernatural

Don't know "The League" Daws, might check it out   :)

A couple of years back I did watch an outstanding Emmy award winning series that revolved around American Football. Probably the best "sports soap" I've ever seen.

In case you missed it

Loved the first season of this, but is the second coming out now? If so, it'll take at least an year to air where I live. Sure I can download it but for some reason it's more fun for me when I watch shows on TV, don't know why.

Maybe you like watching Adverts ?    :D

Main reason I DL stuff instead of waiting for it to air on my TV is that I don't have to put up with someone trying to sell me something every 12 minutes !

Nah, that's not it, there's usually only one commercial break here when TV shows are on. I think I just enjoy the waiting from episode to episode, as weird as that might sound. I might make an exception for this one though and download it  :nod

Ironically here in Australia the excessive downloading has brought the happy side effect of fast tracking. Shows like Game of Thrones and Walking Dead are shown here only a couple of hours after they are broadcast in the states. Many others shows like Justified within  a couple of days.
Im a little miffed Black Sails doesn't start until next week but will I can live with that  :D

The Americans season 3 kicked off this week    :buttrock

Don't know if any of you guys have been following it but the story of Russian spies living in the USA during the cold war era is one of the most engrossing series currently on TV, if you like your spy stuff it's not to be missed !
