Haven't had the chance to comment on this Fallows guy, but surely it's not true what people are saying, that we're signing our players based on what some computer geek says?

In two minds about whether it would be worth bringing Origi in in Jan or summer. Doesn't sound as though he is having the best of seasons there and apparently got booed for missing a pen. Maybe if he comes in Jan, it will help freshen things up for him and with a new start. At the same time, as Kash mentioned, you don't want to put unnecessary pressure on the lad to perform.

Liverpool are reported to be lining up a move for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres, who is struggling while on loan at AC Milan.

Torres has seen his career go on a downward spiral ever since leaving Anfield to join Chelsea in a £50million deal and reports claim he could now return to Merseyside.

The Spaniard only joined Milan on a two-year deal in the summer, but has again struggled to find the back of the net and the Italians would like to cut the agreement short.

Chelsea would agree to that but only if another deal could be agreed elsewhere as Torres does not figure in the plans of Jose Mourinho as the Blues chase the Premier League title.

Liverpool are in need of firepower and the Reds believe he could get back to his best at Anfield.

They would face competition for his services, though, as another of his former clubs, Atletico Madrid, are also understood to be interested in taking him back.

Liverpool and Arsenal have entered the race to sign Real Madrid star and Manchester United target Fabio Coentrao.

The Portugal international is surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu, and looks set to leave Carlo Ancelotti's side in the upcoming January transfer window.

United had been leading the race for Coentrao's signature, but reports now claim that both Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger have thrown their hats in the ring.

Both Premier League clubs are in dire need of a new left-back, and the former Benfica would jump at the chance to showcase his skills in England.

However, AC Milan and Besiktas have also shown an interest in signing Coentrao, and the 26-year-old is sure to have a number of options available to him this winter.

Liverpool are reportedly leading the chase for Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph according to the Daily Mirror.

The England midfielder's Villa Park contract expires next summer.

Aston Villa are likely to fend off advances for Delph in January in the hope that they can tie down the former Leeds United man to a new deal.

However Delph's recent call-up to Roy Hodgson's national team set-up may well lead to a belief he should seek a high-profile move at this stage of his career.

Rolando Aarons has put the Premier League's big hitters on red alert after his contract talks with Newcastle broke down.

Aarons has attracted interest from Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool this season after impressing for Newcastle.

And according to reports, the trio are ready to swoop after Aarons rejected a new deal at St James' Park.

Talks have reportedly hit a standstill despite Newcastle's determination to tie the 19-year-old down on a long-term contract.

Aarons has scored two goals in his first five first-team games for the North-East club, sparking comparisons with Liverpool ace Raheem Sterling.

Although Aarons is a wanted man, Magpies boss Alan Pardew is hopeful he will eventually sign a new deal.

"He is a young player who has a contract here," he said.

"We're trying to negotiate with his team. Somewhere along the line, I think some sense will come into those negotiations."

Lyon boss Hubert Fournier has told RMC the club will not let reported Liverpool target Alexandre Lacazette leave the club in January.

Lacazette, 23, took his goal-scoring tally to a league-high 17 with a brace in Lyon's 5-0 demolition of Bordeaux on Sunday.

The France international has already beaten his previous best total for an entire season, which stood at the 15 he registered last term, and has been mooted as a potential solution to Liverpool's goal-scoring problems in the wake of Luis Suarez's departure and Daniel Sturridge's injury-enforced absence.

However, Lacazette signed a two-year contract extension at the Stade de Gerland in September, tying him to the seven-time French champions until 2018.

Liverpool are on the lookout for a goalkeeper in January, and have been linked with a number of names as a result.

Mattia Perin, Asmir Begovic and Timo Horn are just few of the players linked, and the Daily Mail reckons that Stoke City's young goalkeeper Jack Butland is also being lined up.

Butland is 21-years-old, but can't get in the Stoke side because of Begovic ahead of him in the pecking order.

As a result, he's spent some time on loan at Derby this term in the Championship, but is now back on the bench at the Potters.

Butland's talented, but is hardly the experienced keeper Liverpool need right now to boost their chances of a second half of the season revival.

The Reds could still try to sign the international on loan, which could be a good deal for all parties, however.

Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle fears losing Norberto Neto with the Brazilian goalkeeper strongly linked with a move away from Florence in January.

Neto, 25, has reportedly turned down a three-year contract extension with the Florence outfit with his current deal ending next summer, with both Roma and Liverpool touted as potential destinations.

"Neto has been elusive and hence, I hope he does not leave us," Della Valle told his club's official website. "I'm not optimistic.

"Knowing the lad there is something that is not quite right.

"I hope I'm mistaken but if it is true (that he will not sign new deal), I would be extremely disappointed."

Neto joined Fiorentina from Atletico Paranaense back in 2011 and has started in all of the Viola's 16 Serie A games this season.

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade expects Neto to give a clear indication as to what his future intentions are once the player returns from Brazil.

"We will see what he (Neto) tells us after the holidays," Prade said.

"We are a transparent club and we will announce everything."

Fiorentina were held to a 1-1 draw by Empoli on Sunday to finish 2014 in eighth place in Serie A.

The Viola, coached by Vincenzo Montella, are also in the Coppa Italia and will take on Tottenham in the last 32 of the Europa League.

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has set his sights on a January move away from the Hawthorns, with Liverpool and Tottenham set to go head-to-head for his signature.

Berahino is the Baggies' top scorer this season with eight goals, but has been left out of the starting XI for the past three games.

Reports have claimed the club has halted contract talks with Berahino's representatives, but talkSPORT has been told it was the player himself who called time on the negotiations.

The England U21 star informed the club he no longer sees his long-term future there and wants to move to a club challenging for Champions League places.

Berahino has risen through the Academy ranks at West Brom and his current deal expires in the summer of 2017.

He is keen force through a move in January and both Spurs and Liverpool are monitoring his situation with a view to a New Year bid.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season, after his agent admitted that a January move isn't on the cards for his client.

But the second-choice stopper's representative opened the door to a move to Barclays Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool, saying Cech would be interested if they were to come in for him.

Czech Republic international Cech has been Chelsea No.1 for the past decade but found his starting place taken by returning loanee Thibaut Courtois for much of this season.

And despite talk that Cech is unhappy with his place on the bench, it now seems he won't be moving when the transfer window opens next week.

"It's unlikely Petr will leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. The club and coach want to keep him to help win the title," his agent Viktor Kolar told Czech newspaper Sport.

But Kolar also admitted that staying in England is an option for the keeper.

"I think Arsenal should have made an offer to him. I think Petr would be considering it," he said.

"Liverpool need to strengthen their position in goal and they know Petr will be available in the summer. We've been in contact with Real Madrid but they don't need a keeper just now. But we will discuss it again in March."

Cech has started in Chelsea's last three games, conceding just twice in wins over Sporting Lisbon, Hull City and Derby County, but is expected to drop to the bench for Monday night's trip to Stoke as Courtois recovers from a groin injury.

Petr Cech has moved a step closer to joining Liverpool at the end of the season with the player's agent talking up a switch to Anfield.

Cech, who had lost his place as Chelsea's No. 1 goalkeeper to Courtious, is rumoured to be a key target for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.

And while the 32-year-old has already ruled out a January move, Cech's agent has talked up the chance of his client joining Liverpool in the summer.

"It's unlikely Petr will leave Chelsea in the January," said Viktor Kolar.

"The club and coach want to keep him to help win the title, but Liverpool need to strengthen their position in-goal and they know Petr will be available in the summer."

talkSPORT reckon that Saido Berahino has already made his mind up, and wants to leave West Brom this winter when the January transfer window opens.

Liverpool and Tottenham are the clubs most heavily interested in his services, and could go toe-to-toe for his signature in the coming weeks.

Berahino started the campaign in outstanding form - notching seven goals early on, and earning a call-up to the England squad as a result. His form has tailed off though, and he hasn't started any of the past three matches.

The forward's contract is up in 2017, but it's been revealed that the player himself halted negotiations on an extension, and not the club.

Both Spurs and Liverpool are desperate to bolster poor forward lines, but are aware that they'll probably have to pay the premium for exciting English talent.

Liverpool are being encouraged to bid for Petr Cech - by the keeper's agent.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has already revealed he has had no offers for his former No.1, now on the bench at Stamford Bridge.

But Cech's agent Viktor Kolar is urging Liverpool and Arsenal to make an offer that Chelsea cannot refuse.

Kolar also claimed Cech is set to leave next summer and has already been offered to Real Madrid.

Kolar said: "It's unlikely Petr will leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. The club and coach want to keep him to help win the title. I think Arsenal should have made an offer to him. I think Petr would be considering it.

"Liverpool need to strengthen their position in goal and they know Petr will be available in the summer."
