Actually it's not.

The lowest rating so far, as you would expect, belongs to Glen Johnson (against Crystal Palace) with 2.1, who also has the most flop of the match performances. After that is Raheem Sterling with 2.2 against Basel away, so Joe's performance from Sunday is the third lowest average rating. Borini, Balotelli, Lambert, Lucas and Gerrard are also not far off, with similar ratings like 2.7 and 2.8.

Jones - 3 awful, worse than mignolet
Toure - 7 - best of the 3 and great vision for pass for goal
Lovren - 4 - poor
Skrtel - 5 - ok
Lucas - 5 - was ok
Gerrard - 4 - poor
Coutinho - 5 - was ok
Henderson - 4 - poor
Lallana - 8 - a real maestro, my man of match
Sterling - 7 - took his 2 goals well but wasted a couple he should have done better with
Markovic 7 - growing in confidence, took his goal well, must start against *****

BOURNEMOUTH V LIVERPOOL

JONES - 4 should have done better with their goal
SKRTEL - 6 played okay
TOURE - 7 even at his age still probably the best defender at the club, wish he was 25
LOVREN - 5 not his worst display but exposed by lack of pace a couple a times out wide
LUCAS - 6 not at his absolute best but still comfortably our best DM
GERRARD - 5 a bit quiet I thought
HENDERSON - 5 not being played in his best position and doing a job for the team
COUTINHO - 7 played well I thought
LALLANA - 8 fine performance from Adam, just shades Raheem for MoM
MARKOVIC - 7 took his goal superbly and a good all round performance from Lazar
STERLING - 8 two goals and maybe should have had a hat trick, excellent performance

SUBS
SAKHO - 6 did okay considering he hasn't played for months
CAN - 5 looked a bit rusty to me but again he hasn't had much footy
BORININ - N/A wasn't on long enough to give him a mark

JONES -3 seriously ?
TOURE -7 ,Excellent ,read the game superbly.
SKRTEL-6 ,Strong performance.
LOVREN-4, Pulled out of position far too easily,some wreckless passes.
LUCAS- 8 ,Never put a foot wrong all game ,and kept us well drilled in the middle.
GERRARD 7, One of his better games ,chased and harried for 70 minutes plus.
HENDERSON-4, Again disappointing ,and gave the ball away far too much .
MARKOVIC -8 ,Thought his delightful lofted ball for the goal showed great vision ,and the boy knows where the net is ,gave us so many options with his inclusion .
LALLANA -8, Some of his football sparkled with invention ,quality player that should be one of the first names pencilled in for the Arsenal game ,along with' LAZAR LA'
COUTINHO-7, Desperate to score and produced some beautiful quick footwork ,removed to consolidate the win .
STERLING -8 ,Great second goal and his movement reminded me of Owen the way he continually got himself in front of their defense.

SAKHO-7 Thought he was composed and his passing succinct ,should start against Arsenal.
CAN-7 More than a useful addition in shoring up the midfield.
BORINI -5 Not on long enough ,so I will just give him a 5

JONES -4 ,Yes Simone needs competition but this lad is a none starter ,foot work is terrible ,falls too easily.
TOURE -7 ,Good game ,good connection forward.
SKRTEL-5, Was ok
LOVREN-4, Shaky.
LUCAS- 5 ,Average Lucas ,some tackles ,some unnecessary fouls ,boring passing ,doesn't track back cost us a goal and another great chance for Bournmouth.
GERRARD 5 ,Another average display.
HENDERSON-4, Poor display ,heavy on the ball ,no imagination .
MARKOVIC -7 ,Good goal ,some good runs but not enough ,should be felt more minutes.
LALLANA -8, MOTM ,crisp ,active ,involved ,Why he doesn't start every game might explain why BR is a fool.
COUTINHO-7, Led the MF which controled pace and possesion so well ,not a lot of end product but he is vital for this MF.
STERLING -7 ,2 good goals ,1 horrible miss ,a lot of wasted runs and passes ,hope he turned the corner with this game.

Liverpool V Arsenal

Jones - 4 - wonder if he could have stopped at least one of the goals
Toure - 6 - did ok
Skrtel - 6 - would have been less apart from the match saving header
Sakho - 6 - did ok
Lucas - 5 - got caught in position a couple of times, wasted a few good chances
Henderson - 4 - played out of position, wasn't great
Markovic - 7 - looked bright
Coutinho - 8 - getting back to his best
Gerrard - 6 - nearly scored, apart from that average
Lallana - 8 - had a really, really good match
Sterling - 7 - played well

LIVERPOOL V ARSENAL

JONES - 4 should have done better with both goals
TOURE - 6 solid performance from Kolo
SKRTEL - 6 goal salvaged an average defensive performance
SAKHO - 6 steady enough
LUCAS - 7 did well, we totally dominated the midfield against a side renowned for keeping the ball
GERRARD - 7 along with Lucas part of an engine room that controlled the middle of the park, fine performance from the skipper
HENDERSON - 6 huffed and puffed in an unfamiliar position, always gives 110% though, he may have poor games but you can't accuse him of being a lazy b@stard, always leaves everything out on the field
COUTINHO - 8 my MoM, inventive and caused Arsenal no end of problems, great goal as well
LALLANA - 7 along with Coutinho a thorn in Arsenals side all game, they are very hard to pick up in this system
MARKOVIC - 7 another encouraging display from Lazar, he has that certain poise on the ball that you usually only find in class acts.
STERLING - 7 played well in an unfamiliar position, going forward we are starting to look an exciting unit again and he's a major part of it.

LIVERPOOL V ARSENAL

JONES - 4 poor keeper offers nothing
TOURE - 6 solid performance
SKRTEL - 5 give him an extra point for the goal but definitely the weak point of the defence
SAKHO - 6 pretty solid but does look clumsy on the ball
LUCAS - 6 did well against their midfield
GERRARD - 6 pretty solid but sloppy foul which led to their first
HENDERSON - 5 okay good engine but sometimes wonder if there is a football brain in there
COUTINHO - 8 constant threat running at their defence and good goal
LALLANA - 7 played well some neat touches
MARKOVIC - 7 improving with every game
STERLING - 7 good game

BORINI - 3 Waste of time him coming on

Jonah - 5 should have done better on the first.
henderson - 5 never a wing back and yes he is droppable
skrtel - 7 our best defender by a mile, got his head busted clean open and still popped us to rescue us with a fine goal.
toure - 5 would have cleared the first if sakho hadnt of clattered into him.
sakho - 5 steady enough for the most of it
markovic - 6 good game from the lad and deserved the applause for it.
lucas - 5 wrong man in the right place twice.
gerrard - 5 ran his legs off but silly foul on sanchez in a dangerous area.
coutinho - 8 best player on the park from both teams.
sterling - 6 can score against lower league opposition but that counts for nothing if you can't do it in the prem.
lallana - 6 getting better

Borini - 0 deserves nothing but a kick on the hole. could have cost us. hope i never ever see him in our jersey again.
lambert - 2 barely touched the ball.

Jones - 3 Cant jump ,cant dive,and any shot hit at him seems to nestle in the net ,is it just me who sees the fact he's devoid of these essential ingredients as important    
Skrtel - 6 At fault for our first when out jumped by the massive frame of Debuchy ,but showed 'Ruddock' like commitment to get on the end of Lallana's corner. 
Toure - 6 Pretty solid performance 
Sakho - 7 Based on his distribution and passing in the first half he deserves it ,his performance should see him hold down his place.
Lucas- 7 Controlled the Arsenal threat for long periods ,and even got forward when needed.
Gerrard - 5 Decent game ,but silly foul in a dangerous area ,and frittered away our best spells of possession with raking 40 yard balls with no definable target.
Henderson-6 Thought he applied himself well to the position he now finds himself in.
Markovic 8 The kid adds so much to our attacking threat his inclusion has to be a veritable given.... Oozes class with every measured pass.
Coutinho - 8 His touch for the goal was sublime and his finish deadlier than nightshade.
Lallana -8 Showing signs as to why we fought so hard to sign him from Southampton ,exquisite drag back and shot at goal.
Sterling - 6 Headless at times ,a willing runner though ,but we need far more a potent threat in front of goal.

Borini - 5 He was introduced to the play when we needed bite ,and came on the pitch like a man possessed and produced a great header that Szczesny just tipped
over ,one  thing you cant doubt was the passion he brought to our play...... A total tool ,but passionate !   

Lambert -3 Was introduced to produce a match winning header ,but failed to get his swede on one cross ,even Borini had a fucking header.

Jones - 5 - Not much he could do for the goal, but hes never in a million years good enough for us
Toure - 6 - Usual Kolo, his leadership seems to help others around him
Skrtel - 5 - Awful player, only gets a 5 because of his goal, shocking defending for both Arsenals goals
Sakho - 7 - Our best defender today and i hope he gets a run in the side for a while
Lucas - 6 - Played well defensively, laughable going forward
Henderson - 6 - Did a decent job out of position
Markovic - 6 - Not bad, hes definitely improving, but still sloppy when dribbling
Coutinho - 8 - MOM If this guy could shoot he would be world class, was involved in everything good we did but his shooting really lets him down
Gerrard - 6 - Decent Game, our central midfield dominated there's but they were terrible
Lallana - 8 - his best game for LFC in my opinion, has a lot of class about him
Sterling - 6 - Never a striker but did a decent job for the team, linked pretty well and was unlucky not to get a couple of assists, like Couthino needs to improve in front of goal, he should be getting 15 a season with his ability.

Subs

Borini - 2- Abysmal player, how he gets on the pitch is beyond me, has zero talent
Lambert - 4 Wasn't on for long and didnt have an impact

Jones - 5 he wasn't great but he played some good passes in tight areas.

Toure - 6 steady game but made some good blocks in dangerous areas

Skrtel - 6  played well but was to blame for ball watching for Arsenals 2nd goal. Took his goal well though.

Sakho - 6 he looked more comfortable on the ball than Lovrens looked all season. Thank god he's back.

Henderson - 5 worked his socks off but looks lost on the wing. He's doing his James Milner job for the club playing anywhere.

Lucas - 6 another one that worked hard stopping the flow to Arsenals passing with good interceptions.

Gerrard - 5 another game that passed Stevie by.. Couldn't influence the game like he's done in the past.

Markovic - 8 he was up and down all game, very direct with his runs and passes. Looked very bright.

Coutinho - 8 looked like he was given a free role and thats when he's at his best. He was like a little magician in midfield.

Lallana - 8  for weeks BR has played either Coutinho or Lallana and not both. Play both and we are far more creative as shown yesterday. He had another solid game.

Sterling - 7 looked lively upfront without really looking like a threat. Playing out of position hopefully untill Sturridge is back.

Borini - 2 I felt his frustration. . He's at a club he loves but isn't quite good enough and is only getting 5-10 minutes to prove himself. He should have took the Sunderland option.

Lambert - 4 his style doesn't compliment the way that we want to play.
