"Suck it, Moreno!"

Wonder what's going to happen with this guy, wasn't even on the bench in the last match.

I don't think he's fully fit yet, but hopefully him or Moreno will feature tomorrow.

Brad Smith has been recalled from his loan. It was confirmed that Moreno's injury isn't serious and that he was only rested, so I take it that Rodgers isn't really happy with Enrique. A bit unfair if true, considering he was injured for a year.

It was only the other year he was calling him one of the best in the league.

Enrique on form is a superb full back, his lack of form is nothing more than not playing regularly, much like coutinho, it wouldn't shock me if these two are next out the door

Agree with this. When Enrique is playing well, he's a very good full back, offensively (though his crossing could use work) and defensively. Another victim of low confidence.

Never was he one of the best in the league. You are just "in love" with your position and can't let it go ,small advice don't trade stocks.
Enrique was/is a good solid defender ,he is strong and knows how to position himself well enough to get the ball before the attacker ,he is pretty average attacker due too slow pace and passing accuracy.

He could have represented Spain in the 200m apparently. Pretty nippy our Jose.

Apparently he absolutely smokes everyone in sprint's in training, can't believe some actually think the lad is slow, we all know he can't cross and occasionally switches off in the box but apart from that he's the complete package.

He could play for any side in Europe and is one of our few genuine quality players, makes sense to replace him in that case with an average player.

Bit like we have with Suarez, Reina and Agger.

A very average player.
Anyone who rates him should watch his performance against QPR, his distribution is terrible.

Hopefully Moreno is back tonight.

Can't believe this comment "we all know he can't cross and occasionally switches off in the box but apart from that he's the complete package"

So pretty much 2 important parts of good left sided player & defender, but still close to the complete package!!

Distribution is poor? it's quite typical of people to not understand vision and looking for the right option before just playing a brain dead ball. Jose  has pace, strength, game intelligence and excellent technique and composure, most of which Moreno lacks in abundance. What kind of professional left back gets caught as the furthest player forward on ninety minutes when You're winning a champions league game one nil? That's kids Sunday football basics lad.

Not to mention the other five goals he's been directly at fault for since he signed. Hope the drug rumour is true as he's completely average. He's no better than the likes of Ryan Bertrand or Keiron Gibbs
