Southampton this season...

The Premiership - General Discussion

Got to say, Southampton are doing pretty well in replacing their players. They first signed Dusan Tadic as a replacement for Lallana and now they've signed the Italian Pele from Feynoord as replacement for Lambert. Although it's always risky signing players from the Dutch league, from the little I've seen from these two they're exactly the kind of players that they needed.

but they're still Southampton so they'll have another season doing fek all and next summer their best players will leave for other clubs and so starts the cycle again

Naturally their fans see this summer as a huge negative but what a club in terms of nurturing talent and buying
cheap, selling big.

We must also remember the sell on, its not all about Southampton, Bournemouth and Lallana, clubs like Rochdale
with Lambert, they are often forgotten in the food chain of events but have played their part.

In our own way we are a feeder for clubs like Madrid and Barcelona and boys like Origi and Markovic are purchased
with that very much in mind.
