Not sure how its embarrassing

As shown on another angle Fer's tackle definitely raked down Luis's shin who went down.

He decided to get back into the fight when goal scoring opportunity arose and later was still grimacing as he was walking it off

So he made a meal of it after the contact,  he isn't exactly Robinson Crusoe when it comes to that among professional footballers these days

His will to win is infectious. He was definitely hit and hurt. So should he be criticised for ignoring the pain to try and help the team. I didn't find it embarrassing.

I don't think it's embarrassing at all. The difference is other players would've stayed on the ground and continued to complain trying to get the player sent off, and the rest of the team would've surrounded the ref. Suarez just popped back up, and we played on.
