Put another way, we need 10 points from 4 games to be crowned champions.

Spot on, he should have been booked and foul awarded to Sunderland

The Everton game should be more of a warning, since we have to play against Palace as well. I was very scared of them already.

Palace should be safe now so maybe they won't be so up for it

Both the Everton and City games show what happens when you get complacent.  Both teams underestimated their opposition and both got punished.

Hopefully, Gerrard won't let that happen and will ensure the lads will plough into Norwich in the same manner they did with Man City and Arsenal.

I'm absolutely f*cking terrified of playing at Palace right now. 4 wins on the trot, and they're playing Pulis' awful stoke-city style football that we could never break down.

hilarious on Bluemoon (City's forum), the fans want a new manager already!

That means our midfield and attack picks itself this weekend and we need to be bang on it. Forget about city, forget about Chelsea for now. This Norwich game is huge for us... especially as Chelsea could be above us by the time we play putting more pressure on.

Fortunately, I think that is the exact message Gerrard was relaying in the huddle post match this past Sunday.  I don't think we'll have any problems as far as the lads overlooking an opponent.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Cracker result for us by Sunderland and one of two reasons while I'm loving this season.

No more guarantee results for big boys like it was a few seasons ago

Second reasons because we not beating anyone above us anymore

I really hope so, that wouldn't half give us a bit of breathing space.

Wickham equalised for sunderland, I'm telling you we should buy wickham as a backup for sturridge and Suarez next season... Better striker than Andy the donkey Carroll...

Sunderland look awful though, I'll be astonished if they can hold out for 90 mins.
