Its difficult to compare though because the majority of the Spanish first team is from Barcelona club.

Pretty much one and the same to me. The main spine of the team is from Barcelona as metalhead says and many of the La Liga experts point to the success that Spain has enjoyed being down to Barca's players and their academy (La Massia). They have the added luxury of being able to pick from some of Europe's other top players to flesh out the rest of their squad where Barca haven't yet got homegrown talent coming through.

Barce - They have Messi.

Easily Barca.  They basically are the Spanish team with the addition of some quality players like Messi and Masch

Dunno Barca could never win the WC, Spain have, and thats abigger cup than the CL cup, so Spain must be better

Barca I reckon, and not just because they have Messi. This team is one of the most special in their history. Spain are the best in the world but I don't think they stand out in the same way say compared to the best international teams of all time ect...
