We do not pay, unfortunately, though we do provide a free advanced copy of Football Manager, as well as integrate all researchers to our research team. Your reward is knowing that you have helped contribute to the FM series and that your team's data is as accurate as you would like it to be yourself.

Pfft.............i would have settled for £100,000

nah I'm not into pure strategy, just strategy, the best one I've played is Company of Heroes, the most realistic strategy game I have ever played and still play it.

I love strategy games. I'll have to have a look at that War in the East. Funnily enough I reinstalled Company of Heroes a couple of days ago and forgot how awesome that game is. I have got Command & Conquer the First Decade, Civilization 5, all the Dawn of War games, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition but one I used to play all the time was Lords of Midnight. Originally on the old speccy, which I still own, it was remade for the PC years ago. Still a classic.

War in the East is definitely the most challenging strategy game I've ever encountered. After a couple of small scenarios to get a feel of the game I've started the full campaign (the 1941-45 war against Russia), it's staggering !. Every single unit (and there are thousands of them) from the nations involved are represented along with info on all the equipment they possess by amount and type. I'm having an absolute blast as in the first six weeks of the war my panzers take Riga, Smolensk, Minsk, Kiev, Cherkassy  and Odessa, but as I push deeper into Russia I'm already having to break down divisions into regiments just to cover the enormous expanse of territory before us. Great game but not for the faint hearted , planning just one turn is taking me on average about two to three hours   :D

Freakin Skyrim... It is so anti climatic... I'm level 45 and completed the main quest, became Thane of all districts except for one because there was some bug to the quest, became leader of most of the factions such as Companions, Dark Brotherhood and Thieve's guild, except for Bard's and Mage's (because I didn't intend on learning magic and was not really interested with the bards). And there is actually very little character development strategy and none combat strategy. It's a good game but I prefer Dragon Age: Origins in the end. I guess it is quite difficult to make the game climax because it is a sand box. I hope DA 2 can blend both the story and freedom equally well. There are reports that they are studying Skyrim's sand box nature.
