in the past six years, well i`m one of the few to actually see ferri play, he only came on for a half i think, i never saw him again at anfield anyway.
dundee looked clueless and mejer wasnt the greatest player either. what that diarra was like i cant say because i didnt see him play, but the winger who was in the france world cup winning squad was a dissapointment considering the hype surrounding his arrival - diomede was it?
we`ve had a couple of keepers that injured themselves putting up a shelf or something, in fact recently theres been too many candidates for my liking sadly. ???

Oyvind Leonhardsen, the Norwegian with the outstanding skills of getting in the way of his teammates, has to be one of the worst signings. I don`t recall who signed him, but remember thinking that the manager had stuck his head to far into the medicine cabinet when "Leo" entered Anfield. He was, and still is, a terribly poor footballer

Jean-Michael "So" Ferri ('cross the Mersey) back to france.
El "Bastardo" Diouf (Dozy, idiotic, offensive, useless f***wit, with a sputum problem.)
Salif "I scored a goal!" Diao (But cost us 20)
Bruno "Smiler" Cheyrou. Lovely wages for 4 goals.
Vladimir "Oooh f***, a blade of grass" Smicer. Talent galore, but only evident when he's antique shopping.(Searching for 1 of his LFC goals.)
Harry "Ouch, that really hurt" Kewell. (Quick, rub it better with deep heat) Applied using a £50 note.
Sean "Wasn't I supposed to sign for Liverpool?" Dundee. Who knows, who cares.
Erik "You want to sign me!?!" Meijer. He knew we were having a laugh. We didn't.
Bjorn Tore "My Liverpool A-Z up after 5 months" Kvarme. Norweigen for "Tommy Smith". Fantastic. English for "W***".
Madjani(?) French for;"Their signing him, I can't believe it".

I'm sure there are many more, but the original Q said the last 6 years.:D

Grey haired Glenn was a pretty decent defender we have bought a lot worse.

Roy Evans bought him for 6 million  :oh:

i think we got quite a bit of our money back when we flogged him to Spurs

Is it a coincidence that Bolton's nickname is the "Trotters" ?

unfortunately spotting and buying talent and actually being able to manage them are two completely different things.

just think, if houllier was still here carra would be at right back with biscan or traore at centre half. :sniffle

:rasp I agree, but it was ged's groundwork that has got us to the cl final. If cisse can recover, another of ged's signing's the future looks bright. My point is ged was'nt that bad i think he just ran out of ideas, come the end he did'nt know his best eleven.Rafa on the other hand does and has made the best of limited resources this season.I think we are 4 signings away from title contenders.
