Liverpool Football Club - Games

Its about time we start to get some points against the "small" teams.

Lets continue the postive vibe from the Manchester wins and take this confidense into the premiership.

Glad you started this. Was reluctant to do so myself as the two game threads I've started this season were Spurs and Stoke

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we dropped points here again. Sums it up that I was more confident against the two Manc teams than I am about this. I hope I'm wrong though.

I'll go for an ugly 1-0 win.

any win and happy times. Then Suarez is back!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

no optimism here mate. Though I'm at work when we play and we usually win when I can't watch or follow the score...omen?

Is Spearing available yet?

               Reina
Johnson  Skary  Agger   Enrique
                 Spearing
      Gerrard    Adam    Downing
               Carroll  Bellamy
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

The fact that we have Spurs on Monday and Gerrard was subbed complaining of a tight hamstring I suspect Gerrard will not start tonight.

I think Spearing to start is a reasonable punt. Would love to see Shelvey start in place of Gerrard.

We really, really should win this. The thought of not winning it is just unbearable. If we win, we're on a real march.

I'm not gonna predict the score, but I think Carroll will continue to raise his game. If he's up for it, he'll be too much to handle and should make a big contribution. Agger and Skrtel to keep the door closed. Dirk might get a start tonight.

i have a feeling gerrard won't start aswell. i expect kuyt to start, probably in place of maxi who has been poor in his last two starts.

Yep, Gerrard is going to have a late fitness check but seems unlikely to start.
I'd go for this if he doesnt make it:

Reina
Johnson
Skrtel
Agger
Enrique
Spearing
Adam
Downing
Maxi
Bellamy
Kuyt

ill be fooking sick if we dont win this.

                                                   reina.
                     kelly             skyrtel           agger          enrique.

                     bellamy          gerrard          henderson           downing.
                                             carroll         kuyt.

weve won 1 in 6 to their 1 in 10 so they will be up for it.also they werent playing at the weekend so might be a bit fresher so we need to get at them early and put the game beyond them.
we can not afford anything other than 3 pts here
