Bill Shankly (when asked about how he would like to be remembered) -
that I've been basically honest in a game in which it is sometimes difficult to be honest. Sometimes you've got to tell a little white lie to get over a little troublesome period of time.

No, just a fan brought up in a different age, an age where Liverpool fans were famous for their loyalty and patience.

C'mon Yak, you're better than the petty jabs. Don't forget it's the club and the badge we support, not the man in the chair. Haven't you said we should sell Sterling? I'd imagine there are others players and staff you've wanted rid of too. It's not fair to claim you're a better or loyal fan based only on your own perception of how to support the team. If you think Brendan lies awake at night wondering how to please millions of scousers then I bet you'd be wrong. He'll be thinking about how to keep his coveted position in an institution far greater than he.

Seeing United battered today only emphasize how BR has no grasp on how to prepare a team for crucial moments...

Gutted. If we had won yesterday, would be five points off Utd with a game in hand.

Rodgers gave up on fourth place a while ago, and motivation and performances seem to reflect that quite well.

Agreed ,Van Gaal and his expensively assembled side were  tactically outwitted by Martinez and a team that apparently don't accept their
level and natural order, an order preached repetitively by some posters held solely by the top fours (in a purely monetary sense ) so called elite.

Everton learnt from our mistakes, they nullified Fellaini and United looked toothless.

And every team since our game learnt and Bodgers stayed clueless :upside:
