Watford V LIVERPOOL - Mon 1st May 8PM KO

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby Doeboy » Fri Apr 28, 2017 1:47 pm

This is a big game now. If City and Mancs win over the weekend, then we really have to go out there and do a job. Watford are not up to much but being an evening game, in a small compact ground, it has the feeling of that Palace game when we missed out on the title or the Leicester away game a month or so back. Watford do have a few quick players that could be a problem on the counter so we need to be vigilant.

Just need to go out there and get it done, no excuses simple. I'm confident and will go 3-1 to us

Highly likely United will be above us going into this match, a fixture that was a horror show for us on Klopps first visit, rock bottom, the absolute pits.

Mourhino took the point at City with confidence he can beat Swansea and put the pressure on us, and I have no doubts he believes we will crack as the chasing team and we have to prove him wrong.

I know we hammered them at Anfield and I havent read the history but it feels like Watford is a bad ground for us, they will be up for it and we need a first class performance to send a sign we are genuine Champs League material.

Am I confident? Absolutely not unfortunately  :glare:

Really don't know how this will go. With us it really makes no difference how weak the opposition are. The weaker they are the more likely chance we will drop points.
I've got no idea what will happen we are just soo unpredictable.
Hoping Lallana gets some mins, we've missed his energy.

I would say though if we lose then its goodbye top 4.

Last season they did us 3-0 down there, Deeney and Ighalo tore us to shreds. Luckily Watford arent in that type of form atm but you never know when we are involved. Lose this and our season is over imo.

Top 4 is in our hands again. Let's not f**k it up!

I'm going for 2-0 to the mighty reds  :buttrock

If they screw this chance it would show they have got no desire to play champs league footy.
We've been given a golden chance that we cannot miss. From being out of our hands to potentially finishing 3rd.

Maureen and especially Pepe spent millions and really have underperformed this season.
Maureen could still end up with 2 trophies and Champs league footy but to his standards they have been poor. Draw specialists :D

I think everyone anticipated having to play chase tomorrow but weve been given a wonderful opportunity to take Arsenal out of the race and put United in a very difficult position, its back in our hands.

Im always critical of Liverpool as I want the best for us but a top 4 finish would be a big achievement considering the resources poured into United and Arsenal consistently qualifying.

We still have to get the job done though and not winning will be a massive disappointment tomorrow now.

Expected United to drop points but not against struggling Swansea !! I thought City would win their remaining games and they mess up against relegation fodder !! These results make me feel a bit better given the number of ***** ups we have made this season. With the injuries we have suffered we deserved a bit of luck.

With a bit of luck Lallana will be back to figure at some stage.

Now go and stuff Watford !!

Yep, our destiny is back in our own hands again which is crucial, it literally doesn't matter now if Arsenal/United win all their remaining games 10-0, if we win our last 4 games there's nothing they can do about it.
We are lucky to get the advantage back after throwing it away against Palace, let's not give it away again.

This is a massive game and we need eleven players driven to put aside the disappointment of the Palace game and eleven players ready to perform like monsters to finally put an end to this f*cking about we've been doing, we lose this one tomorrow and it's Goodnight Vienna to Champions League football, it really is that important !

Biggest game since the UEFA Cup last year.

They have a lot to make up for since last season's disappointment and the inconsistencies of this season.

If they are not up for it we might as well sack all of them with Klopp following them shortly out the door.

No excuses, no nonsense, couldn't care less what the scoreline is but it needs to be a win.

A BIG FAT WIN.  :buttrock
