The lack of urgency in our play is alarming, we are second to absolutely everything. Brendan has got to fire them up or make changes because as it stands Swansea are playing us off the park.
This is not the time to start playing shyte again.

Phew... A good away win... Despite a somewhat lucky goal. About time luck is on our side anyway. Now we need to beat man u at home and go for that 4th spot.

Poor performance but an important win nonetheless.

Ugly win. That's what's needed in away games this stage of the season though. Swansea are no mugs especially at home.

Next.

To be fair that was a much improved performance in the second half. That game was a perfect illustration of why it's so important to have a solid defence, our back 3 and keeper kept us in the game first half but because we didn't concede one scruffy goal was enough to win us the points.
Tough place to go and win that so credit to the players.

True yakka. Back three did ok but rode our luck at times. Can got skinned twice and Sakho looked rusty. Skrtel was solid and Mignolet made two brilliant saves first half to keep us in it.

Credit to Rodgers for changing midfield shape at half time. It swung the game our way. The guy is a good manager.

Dont agree. Sometimes you have to win ugly. Swansea have lost 3 out of 14 at home. It's not an easy place to go. They played very well tactically in the first half and made ourlives extremely difficult. Rogers changed things in the second half and we played very well and certainly deserved to win based on the second half performance.

Dreadful 1st half. Much better 2nd. Credit to Rodgers for changing the system at half time. Allen, Sakho, Skrtel and Mignolet all excellent. The rest pretty average.

Massive win though. 6 away clean sheets in a row in the league (equalling a club record). Unbeaten in 13 in the league. 4 points behind Man City having been 17 points behind them on New Year's Day.

Bring on United.

Yep, a win for defensive resilience. How nice is it to watch an LFC team that can properly defend? They block shots, they hassle and Harry and work like fook if they make mistakes, we compete for 2nd balls and they are brave. Mignonette, Skrtel and Sakho had fine games and joe Aleen continues his rehabilitation as an LFC quality player with another excellent performance.

We were shocking in the first half, Gary Monk had us completely Sussed. It was no good pointing fingers at any of our lads because it was a system problem. The manager made some astute changes at half time and let's be honest, we absolutely bossed that 2nd half, lucky with the goal but completely changed from the first half and we were good for a couple of goals at least.
