Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby burjennio » Fri May 11, 2012 4:33 pm

Well the last game of the season is here already, and most of us are probably happy to see it after what has been an underwhelming league campaign. I think we'll go out on a high, as long as we keep with our in form strike partnership and put Stuart Downing on a bus to Inverness for the day. My gut says 3-1 with a brace from big Carroll and Suarez chipping the keeper from the far end of the car park. Perhaps its an opportunity to give some of the youngsters a proper run out, with starlett Raheem Sterling chomping at the bit for a first team start, whatever that means. Anywho, its a meaningless match where both teams having nothing to play for, though a win for LFC means that we might just finish above that rabble from across the park should they stutter against high flying Newcastle. And lets hope that happens, or come Monday the streets of Liverpool will be awash with so much blue and white you'd think the miserable c*nts had and won the Champions League.

LETS BOW OUT IN STYLE REDS!   :buttrock

I didnt want to start this one as i think weve only won once when ive started a Match thread and that was Everton in the semis.

We need to end in style and alot of the players should be playing for the chance to stay in the Liverpool squad.

Fully expect to see Stevie Start and Also Sterling. Not going to submit a team as last game of the season teams are always diffcicult to predict

All 10 games today on TV here in the states.  I don't think that's ever happened before.  Fox is using all of their channels to show every game live.  Pretty awesome.  LFC match is on FUEL (Yes the station usually reserved for skateboarding and potheads).  Actually 9 are on Fox channels.  ESPN2 has the other.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

there's quite a few places running with this story now  :(
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

So, no streams?

Interesting to see no Skrtel in the team. Don't want to read too much into a last game of the season selection, but interesting given the rumours of him looking for a move. Or is he just injured?

Maxi in the starting line up? I'm positively shocked.
