I understand two games within 42 hours is far too much, whereas Chelsea is getting too much of a rest!, referees are never kind to LFC, but they are much of a help to Chelsea and M.United!.

Can anybody tell me how many Central defenders youth and senior Liverpool squad have?  despite spending so much money on players over the past three years, the club is still very weak or short in that department! There is something seriously wrong in team management, are they crazy or an idiots? the latter may be correct or both!.. It is not a problem that it can be resolved!

POSTED THE FOLLOWING ON THE JK THREAD IN RESPONSE TO THOMMO WHICH COVERS SOME OF THE IDIOTIC POINTS THAT YOU MAKE:

To suggest that we were pitiful against City  and Sunderland is a ridiculous over reaction even by your standards Thommo   Against Sunderland we had 71% possession and 15 shots on goal as opposed to their 5.  A couple of stupid penalties were the key reason for the result. The first penalty was soft to say the least and the second penalty was the result of a questionable free kick that was not down to Lucas as you suggest. Very simple to criticise Klopp for not rotating the squad but. Really don't think that was the reason for dropping a couple of points. Bad luck and stupidity figured highly in this result. Mané's hand ball was idiotic. I think that he forgot that he was in the penalty area !!

We have taken 13 points out of 15 without Matip and Coutinho and supporters start having a go at Klopp. The word TYPICAL comes to mind  :help

Defensively we were excellent against Everton an City. And we were very good against Sunderland except for a moment of poor judgement by Klavan who has been extremely good as cover for Matip. You can hardly blame our defence for a stupid hand ball by Mané.

Do you watch the match through a stream on a mobile phone with a very small sceen? You're a wind up merchant lad. Support the team or fk off !!

Agree Dev.

The meltdowns suffered by some on this forum when we have taken 13 out of a possible 15 points is truly astounding. Also to say that we have played s**t in the last 2 important games is just stupid.

Chelsea finally losing has given us tremoundous hope that we still have a chance of catching them over the course of this season.

I think we need to go back to 7-8 seasons to compare how important our game against the Scum is in context of winning the title. A loss to either side would be soul crushing.

Our fans know more than anyone though that points dropped against the lesser lights in the division can easily cost you the title. Look at Rafa in 08/09, he beat Chelsea and United (who were the 2 top teams back then) home and away and only lost 2 league games all season but came up just short because of draws against the Stoke's and West Ham's of this world.
If people want to accuse our fans of over reacting to a draw then they need to do the same to Jurgen as well, he was obviously as gutted as anyone and even apologised at the end of his press conference for being a bit @rsey with the press.
Yes we all need to take stock of where we are every now and then just to remind ourselves of how far we have come since H+G nearly took us to the wall but in the context of a title race dropping 2 points to the side second to bottom is not good, especially when that side had just been smashed by friggin' Burnley.
As it turns out we got lucky, we had a bad result but Chelsea had a worse one, what we need to do now though is put together a long run of wins because one glance at the table shows us that everyone has backed up behind us, Arsenal in 5th are just 3 points behind us, in other words we are one loss away from potentially being outside the top 4 altogether!
Over the last 6 weeks or so we've had some big wins against the likes of Everton and City but we've also dropped points against the likes of Southampton, Bournemouth, West Ham and Sunderland.
Given the furious pace at the top our recent form is not only not good enough to win the title it's not even good enough to finish in the top 4, at the start of that period United were 11 points behind us now they are one win away from being right up our @rses.
Everything is up for grabs, we could win the title or just as easily finish 6th (where United are now), as well as we've done there are 5 other teams that have pretty much matched us stride for stride. With games against United, Chelsea and Spurs etc on the horizon the next month or so is going to be absolutely crucial that's for sure.

Now what am i supposed to do with this post? This LFC squad ,quality wise ,is NOT a title contender! we should thank the gods/Spirits/and most of all KLOPP for making this even a remote reality/possibility ,expecting otherwise is sheer blindness ,vanity whatever you want to call it...I would advice our fans to set their expectations accordingly...Being at this poll position coming January is nothing but a football miracle..Having said that we are in a unique position to increase our chances by making a successful and significant signing ,and it needs to happen fast. If we can get a 1-2 quality players which can hit the ground running then we might just might make it a season for the generations to remember.
