Jürgen Klopp has no fresh injury worries. Liverpool's only absentee at training this morning was full-back Joe Gomez, who is suspended after being sent off against Sevilla a fortnight ago. Loris Karius is set to replace Simon Mignolet in goal while Daniel Sturridge could get the nod up front. Here’s how Liverpool might line up at the Otkrytiye Arena: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Klavan, Moreno; Henderson, Can; Salah, Coutinho, Mané; Sturridge

I thought this game might be an early kick off given Moscow is 2 hours ahead of us. It will be near midnight in Russia by the time the game ends. Mind you I'm just glad we are going there in September and not November/December. Some of the temperatures they get in that part of the world are absolutely ridiculous.

It will be very initmidating and they will put a lot of pressure in the officials.

I remember days when we could control the crowd away in Europe, take the sting out then hit them hard that wont be happening tomorrow.

It will be an easy game against a team which is not in form and has many injuries...Easy 2 3.

I'd hope we field a strong side as the game against Newcastle is on Sunday anyway and then we've got a couple of weeks until the big one.

Lets get Salah, Mane, Couts, Firmino ticking together. I feel we are going to blitz these lot.

OMG... credit to Gerard Houllier his teams were one of the most balanced sides. Danny Murphy back then was so under-rated, I think he is better than any CM we got at the moment, including Wijnaldum. The Owen-Heskey tandem worked. Owen was the star striker but Heskey played his part. Defensively we were very solid with Hyppia, Riise, Carragher and Henchoz.  :buttrock

His master stroke was signing Gary Mac. And his downfall was when he bought El Hadji Diouf, Bruno Cheyrou, Signama Pongolle, and I forgot the other guy, and didn't sign Anelka.

What i liked about Houllier was he straight away strengthened the defense and bought Hyppia and Henchoz. What a signing Hyppia turned out to be- Legend.

Hyppia, Riise, Carragher and Henchoz

That defense was solid.

S M are very average. They only managed a draw with the leagues bottom team at the weekend.  I think we will give them a dam good thrashing

What I didn't like about Houllier was that he Ousted Roy Evans from the club, and filled the team with average tosh such as Baros, Smicer, le tallec, Biscan, Murphy, kewell etc etc.

Any win tonight will do! So if all the boys are firing and Mane, Salah, Couts, Firminho, Wjnaldum all play, and assuming we take our chances, I'll take a 0-8 score. :) :). Hey wait, if Migs is playing, make it a nervy 7-8 score :) :) :)
