Southampton vs Southamtop B.

Few lads will be playing against their old side and it will be interesting to see what reception Virgil gets.

Going to be a tricky one but we should snap 3 points.

Spurs v Arsenal is just about to kick off.
The best result from our point of view would be a draw, that would mean both of them dropping points, if one team has to win then preferably it will be Arsenal, don't want Spurs winning.

Yep, I was hoping their last 3 fixtures (United, Liverpool and Arsenal on the bounce) would slow them down somewhat but if anything Spurs have actually gained momentum not lost it, they have got a nice run of league games now which will take them right up to April (Palace, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Newcastle etc).
We need to just try and stay in that top 4, if we finish outside the CL places not only does it make it a lot more difficult to sign our intended targets but it gives anyone looking to bale out a ready made excuse to go.

We are only one defeat or even a draw from exiting the top four places, it's that close. The pressure is on right till the end of the season, and I think goal difference could play a part also.

So we could do with banging a few goals in as well. The saints aren't as good as they used to be as we have bought most of their players.

Not a gimme this, after the Swansea and West Brom games recently, but we minimum need the win, it's a bonus if we can bang a few in, as it could come down to goal difference in the end.

Spurs looks the better team after City..It's going to be pretty hard to maintain our position.. especially after January.

Chelsea seem to be the team imploding at present so we just need to keep the pressure on and not drop on many points

Southampton will be right up for this, their crowd can't stand us and they will be demanding 100% effort from their players, a good start will be vital, if we allow their crowd and players to feed off each other's energy and build momentum it could be a long afternoon.

We have to win this now, Newcastle's first home win in 4 months, we can't look a gift horse like that in the mouth.
Come on Liverpool.
