It was one-way traffic in the second half but there was no final ball/killer touch worth talking about. Still, it was only a sh*tty friendly. I'm glad I didn't get to go

Good: Lucas, Coates, Doni
Average: Bellamy, Maxi, Downing, Kuyt, Henderson, Adam, Spearing, Flanagan, Enrique, Hansen
Bad: Carroll, Aurelio, Wilson, Agger, Johnson
*Support was OK I guess.

Put them under pressure when we brought in the big guns but still didn't score. Defending was poor, although I think Coates did alright, and we lacked the end product. All in all, I'm disappointed, should have at least score a single goal.

I still don't quite get the point of the game given the side selected.
I can see the benefit of Johnson, Agger, Coates, Doni and Aurelio getting some time, but I would have liked to have seen some youngsters given a go.

Totally over the top comment perhaps as it was a friendly and I didn't see the game but I do worry about our lack of creativity at times.

The game had it's benefit as a training exercise. Pretty much all those involved either were returning from injury or have not had many opportunities for the first team. The result wasn't important, having fit players ready to replace in case of injury or suspension is.
