I wanna see Couts and Suarez doing that little high five thing they do watching us sail through to the semis along with that other traitor Sterling!!

I remember Owen being a traitor going to Madrid to "win things" and the year after us going in to lift the champions league.. you have to love it :)

Sterling was almost in tears at the end of the game, arguing the toss with Sane

Great finishing by Bobby and Salah. I personally thought man city looked. Desperate. They were too desperate to score, so made errors. Other than their first goal, our defence was solid as a rock. I knew they would tire second half and we would catch them out on the break. Playing three at the back against us is suicide.

What a result. After 2 minutes I didn’t expect that. City had a lot of the ball and had substantially more attempts than us but just how threatening were they. Yes we got lucky with the offside ruling and Silva hitting the post. But apart from VVD’s mood stake that lead to a goal just how threatening were they. We were frighteningly clinical in front of goal and that was the difference over two legs. Our defence with VVD has changed beyond recognition. Massive credit to the owners as well for getting the cheque book out and spending £75m on a defender. The two young fullbacks also deserve a massive amount of credit and they cost a measly £8m which also proves it is not always about spending crazy money and on that note I wonder what Phillipe Coutinho is thinking tonight !! Did somebody say WHO ??
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years (10 years
are in brackets)
LFC £255m (£467m)
Everton £38m (£287m)
Arsenal £645m6 (£925m)
Spurs £510m (£541m)
Chelsea £788m (£1007m)
Man City £307m (£1012m)
Man United £702m (£1249m)

Take a bow Roma though, after being 4-1 down in the first leg and having Barca as an opponent, great stuff.

would prefer bayern...they play open football and im sure klopp knows a few tips to beat them

I'll play Real Madrid. They rely on Ronaldo all the time.

You clueless muppet. Literally anyone but Madrid at this stage. I want Roma.

What a result.

Another Klopp masterclass.

When we win number 6 in a few weeks time, someone please re-create 3 plastic winners medals and courier them to Suarez, Sterling and Countiho.

Full steam ahead with the Reds Express!!!

We got lucky tonight, Sane's goal should have stood, Milner clearly played at it, that huge slice of fortune came at a time when we were on the verge of falling apart as well. Thats football though, sometimes things go for you and sometimes they go against you, I thought we were unlucky at the Etihad back in September when Mane was sent off when he was clearly going for the ball, as I said some go for you some go against you.

Pardon!???
I bet you were saying this before the Quarter final draw, weren't you!?? You were saying..." Anyone but City"!?? You tool.
Grow a pair of balls, we'll beat anyone now still left in the competition. We have just despatched the best team in the competition. Simplicity!!!

Plenty of Liverpool sides over the last 30 years would have folded like a pack of cards tonight, especially after conceding a goal within 2 minutes. Jurgen is spot on.
