Liverpool Football Club - Games

We really need to get 3 points so we can get closer to sealing a champions league spot.

I'm guessing Klopp will field a strongish side.

Mane most likely to miss this so probably Ings will start.

Jurgen said in his pre match prezza that we desperately need to win this and he is right.
Atm we have 71 points from 35 games and Chelsea have 63 points from 34 games.
If we draw today that will give us 72 points from 36 games, Chelsea however would have 2 games in hand on us, if they win those 2 games that will put them on 69 points, just 3 points behind us, and we still have to go to Chelsea.
That's if we draw, If we lose today Chelsea would have the opportunity to overtake us!
We are in a good position but we have got to keep winning, we can't afford to back last weeks draw at West Brom up with another draw or loss.
Another factor at play is the fact that if Stoke lose today they are down, with a CL semi and maybe even a final on the horizon Stoke are obviously going to try and get stuck into us to see if any of our players are worried about the prospect of picking up an injury and potentially missing career defining games.
Stoke's players are playing for their livelihoods, if they get relegated their wages will take a massive hit, we need to bring our A game. The CL run is great but we can't take our eyes off the ball in the league.

Been saying it long enough. 4th is far from done. Got to win this today then avoid defeat against Chelsea then we're fine. I'd rather not take this to the last game of the season. Obviously the Roma games are huge but we must manage the leage as well. We can still finish 5th and win nothing which would be a disaster at this stage.

Had we done our job at West Brom, we wouldn't need to worry, but we never do things easy do we? This one's a must win game now, which won't be easy with the injuries that we have and the fact that we still have to play Roma on Wednesday.

Reading we might go with 5 at the back for this one, not really liking the sound of that.

As you say mate our season could easily unravel, in fact in many ways today's game is more important than next Wednesdays, if we get knocked out by Roma yes it would be a bitter pill to swallow but getting knocked out at the SF stages of the CL wouldn't affect our ability to recruit players in the summer, not qualifying for next years CL though certainly would!
It looks like Mane is going to be missing today and we've already seen that once you take one of the cogs out of our front 3 it's nowhere near as effective. Today's game is massive and that's why Jurgen was calling for the fans to generate an atmosphere like last Tuesday's.

Just get the three points today boys, and then the last two games will ease the pressure a little bit.

I'll take any result today, just please avoid any more injuries, as our  squad looks wafer thin currently. :(

Mane is out today?

So the line up could be:

                           karius
Gomez   Klavan    VVD       Moreno
       Milner  Hendo Wjnaldum
        Salah   Firmino   Ings

Obviously the above depends on Klopps Rotation bearing in Mind Wednesday's match, but may opt for  either Robertson Lovren and/or TAA also bearing in mind what happened at West Brom last week.

Prediction: 4-0

Looks like it's going to be 3 at the back -

Karius, Trent, Gomez, VVD, Klavan, Moreno, Gini, Hendo, Mo, Bobby, Ings

Well we know 2-0 is not safe. Be sure to watch all the way to the end, this team always leaves the door open.

Maybe it's with Trent in the middle rather than 5 at the back. Hope so anyway.

The Moran has been given a chance to show Klopp and the rest of us that he has a place at this club.
Shifting him out of defence and put into the midfield could become a master stroke - He loves to go forward and can do so very well.
Come on lad - let THIS be your moment now and for the rest of your career!

Let's hope Mo bags a couple at least. Five more to beat Rushies record of 47 :p

Gomez is horrible..not even sub material at this stage..can't do anything...

Our execution is so poor as well..Salah and Trent with terrible finishing.
